This place has quickly become my "local". Whether I pop in for breakfast, lunch (a $10 soup & sandwich special makes it not worth opening my own fridge or getting my kitchen dirty!) or dinner, the food is always good. Sometimes, I just stop by for a beverage and a little quiet time with a book and some friendly conversation at the bar with friendly folks who have quickly become friends. The Ottawa destination for anyone who likes to play darts, this spot also has euchre, karaoke, live music, open mic nights, monthly community fundraisers and sports are always on on the many TVs. If you are looking for a place to enjoy delicious wings and a cozy pub atmosphere, look no further than Lunergans Pub on Montreal road. This is my new favourite spot for a satisfying meal and a relaxing drink. The pub has an old school vibe that makes you feel at home, with no pretentiousness or frills. The service is friendly, down to earth, and efficient. I happen to be passing by this place one day and decided to drop in for a bite. Food is OK, service is fast and there is something oddly familiar about the crowd there. Its almost like the old familiar faces in a TV Show called Cheers, although, there might be no more than 2 to 5 people there. Its a safe and clean eating establishment with an Irish theme.
