I stopped by as this place was on my way home. I was there today (March 2/2019) at 4pm and picked up cheese desserts. These are called “ahlawat il jibun”, I came home and my son and husband and I found they had a funny taste and then I called the owner. I called at 7pm and was not going to go back tonight but more tomorrow am to get something fresher. I was very nice and did not ask for money just a fresh product. Let me first say, the girl who answered was nice and offered my money back, then I said I rather just a fresh order when I pass by tomorrow. Subsequently, the owner came on the line and began to shout like a crazy man that I was lying. Seriously, dude? You lose a customer and risk bad reviews for $24? Your sweets are rotten and old, and you are a disrespectful man with no customer service skills and are flat out lyer. Your sweets were rotten and you are making people sick so you make a profit and yell? Again for $24 you risk losing customers and shame - FYI...good food is word of mouth! You have just lost me and my families business and I’m from a very large Lebanese family. Too bad, you were too ignornarnt and did not correct your mistake or even attempt to discuss the issue. I don’t deserve to be yeld at because I expressed the truth. I will assume you believe you are the best baker and ant improve on you skill. Le Roi is just no good. Cakes and sweets are better else where as is customer service and they food is fresher and has a higher turn over.
Folks, stick with La Brioche, there are two locations, one further down Bank street and another close to south keys. I regret feeling sorry Le Roi. They are rude, have no customer services and frankly rip offs. La Bricohe, I will definitely make the detour next time as it’s always a...

I came with my friend. The lady at the front was okay. Then after my ordered finished. She greeted the two Arab guys behind us and ignored my friend that was beside me for her order. My friend ordered a cake, which was $45. My friend made a previous order and deposited $100 from them but got cancelled. She made this order with a staff there named Nour and another man (appeared to the owner), and was gonna use this deposit money to pay for cake. When she was telling the front staff about it, the worker asked for her phone number and checked the back. She came out with the owner already looking mad and said "there's nothing". Owner left saying something in Arabic. My friend texted the girl (Nour) she made the deal with on Whatsapp and the Nour called the shopped twice(yes it's her we can see the number from the phone). 1st one no one picked up as staff was in the back and 2nd call, my friend mentioned to the front staff was calling and immediately said "No". The worker decided to pick up the call and explained it to her and got the owner. The owner coming out looking mad finally giving my friend the deposited money. He would slam and throw the pen at my friend when he asked her to writer her number and signature.
Mind you this isn't the first time my friend tried asking for her OWN MONEY back. She went the day before and explain, but the owner yelled at her and sent...

Had them a couple of times and I was not disappointed. The products are of good quality, prices are not too high and there is a fair amount of choice. If you're there for a specific product or just for discovery, you'll probably come back again.
Staff (1 young lady) seemed a bit overwhelmed and exhausted by the non-stopping flow of incoming customers (I suppose it's a good indicator of a good store?) However, this made the lady quite unfriendly and eager to close the sell as quickly as possible so she can move to the next customer. I don't know if she was alone the whole day or a colleague didn't show up.
While I totally understand that she might be tired and just wanting to lower the stress level, I, as a customer didn't feel i was welcome; what I need is a good customer service. Every customer is supposed to be treated with a smile and not feel he's pushed to make his choice as fast as possible. Doesn't really make you comfortable and wanting to come back, right?
I don't know if she's always alone or if it's just my luck, but I would recommend having 2 people at the counter for everyone's comfort.
Bottom line: nice products, good quality and passable customer service (for now?).
I will still come back because currently they're one of the best shops in their category as...
