Momo Bistro — Restaurant in Ottawa

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from this momo restaurant through Uber Eats, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a disaster.

I placed an order and realized within a minute that I had made a mistake. Trying to rectify the situation, I promptly cancelled the order, only to be met with an absolute refusal for a refund. Yes, you read that right – one minute! The restaurant apparently has a policy that is as rigid as week-old rice.

Now, I get it, businesses have policies, but the complete lack of flexibility and understanding in this case was astounding. I tried explaining the situation, but it was like talking to a brick wall. The customer service representative seemed more interested in upholding their strict cancellation policy than ensuring customer satisfaction.

To add insult to injury, the restaurant didn't even attempt to empathize with my situation or consider the fact that I had barely blinked before realizing my error. It felt like they were more interested in pocketing my money than providing a positive...

LATEST REVIEW: The food is served into a transparent plastic box directly from stove. It’s a health hazard to serve hot food in plastic containers. I took this feedback to the person working on the floor(he is not the manager), and he mentioned that they are out of the usual containers So they are serving in these plastic containers. But that’s also putting customers health at risk. Also their kitchen looks dirty. Instead of making the kitchen cleaner, they built a wall to hide the kitchen from customers. Since I’ve been here before and knew how dirty the kitchen is, I peeped through the newly built wall and the kitchen still looks same old. Why can’t the management spend money on kitchen instead and take good care of it. I REALLY HOPE THE MANAGER TO ENSURE ALL STANDARDS ARE FOLLOWED AND GOOD HEALTHY FOOD IS SERVED.

OLD REVIEW: Curry Momo's are best..had that indian twist.. steamed Momo's are okay. The tables could've been more cleaner and nevertheless we had a good time eating Tikka talk...

Ordered on uber eats. Extremely disappointing. Do not understand how does this place have 4.8 stars.

Chicken momo burger, Veg Manchurian Momos(apparent popular item) and Fried Chicken Momos.

The burger comes with two pieces of momos with some sort of sauce on the lower bun and pathetic two tiny sliced onions. You cant call something a “burger” by placing it between a bun.

Veg Manchurian momos- a must try if you are only craving to taste salt and garlic and soggy momos that taste nothing like manchurian or momos.

Fried Chicken Momos- the chicken inside the momos was not cooked properly. When serving fried food, it is important to check the temperature of the inside filling to make sure it is actually cooked. Was supposed to have chutneys along with the order, gave us one pack of ketchup for three dishes 😊

Overall, i will not be returning back. Or would be recommending this...
