Raahi Indian Dhaba — Restaurant in Ottawa

I ordered online, then went to the restaurant at the time they said it would be ready (30 mins after ordering). There were two other customers and an Uber Eats delivery guy sitting there looking annoyed. I talked to the cashier who didn't seem to know I had placed an order, and she asked me to sit. I waited 30 minutes, and none of the other customers (who had also ordered online) got their food in that time.

I tried to tell the cashier to cancel my order, but she was in the kitchen and couldn't hear me. I left. I'll have to do a charge back on my credit card.

This was an extremely disappointing experience as I had heard such good things about this place. Completely disorganized and incapable of communication of any kind.

Update: the restaurant issued an update without doing a charge back. I intend to try them again at some point (with a backup plan) and will update my review with...

For Canotek location:

I was really looking forward to trying this place in the east end. I googled the address and number, called in my order. Drove over to pick up and the place was closed. Called the number on the door (same number as Google), they picked up and said they're at a different location in Nepean. Why is the Nepean location number on the door of the canotek location? Why didn't they ask where I was hoping to pick up if they only have one number? How would I know I was phoning a different location?

Highly highly recommend for Indian food!! We had done catering from Raahi Dhaba, Canotek for a family event (a gathering of about 50 people). It was a full meal including appetizers (chilli chicken, cocktail samosa, and dahi kebab), and main course (dal makhni, shahi paneer, chicken bhuna, tawa roti, and everything along with it).
