Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ottawa

I ordered a cake online and paid online. Received an email saying that I can cancel my order 2 days before. I have called Dairy Queen 5 times, left 2 messages for manager and nothing. No one at the store knows how to cancel an online order? Today I called for the 6th time and was told. : "no worries. the manager is in the hospital. He told me you will get refund no problem. Yet, still no call from manager of course. I'm guessing they are playing the ignore the customer game until she can no longer cancel (2 day policy). So unprofessional and insulting. Update: I keep calling every day and this time was told: The manager said he will refund you NO PROBLEM. It's been 4 days...still no refund! Update = I went to the DQ in person and I now have my refund because they called the manager. Although I appreciate finally getting my money back, they have lost me as a customer as it shouldn't take 7 calls to...

Though it is far away from where I reside, but thank goodness I can still order my goodies via Skipthedishes.

This particular franchise carries 'Strawberry Cheesecake' which is my favourite, so that's why I reach out to it via phone, place an order, and then order via Skipthedishes so I know that what I ordered will be there for delivery. How smart of me! Hehe. No, but seriously, the restaurant owner seems like a Desi fellow--and, a Desi business owner knows how to please their customers.

I usually add flaming burger 🍔, which is quite tender and juicy. And then, I attack my cake and turn into a giant happy hippo before hitting the sac. Next day, I consume some more dose of lovely cake, and so on until it's finished. 😣 Their little orange vanilla popsicles are also to die for!

As you can see from the pictures how much I ❤ DQ. It helps me keep my body...

Feb 2023 update: try and try again; fail and fail again! Shame on the owner for being so cheap and losing your passion!

I again bought 2 peanut buster parfaits and they are both AGAIN so small the ice cream barely rises above the rim of the cup.

*The DQ in Orleans with drive-through makes a proper PBP with the ice cream almost hitting the top of the lid. I’m never going back here again! Wait I already said that lol 😂 seriously this is the last time.

Previous: No ice cream in my milkshake, taste like water. My wife’s peanut buster parfait has hardly any ice cream either.

They used to be consistent but now stay away from this place especially how expensive it is you expect more..
