This place has one of the best schnitzels I have ever had!!!

We have been getting schnitzels from this restaurant for years and I always order the Jäger Schnitzel Platter [slightly spiced and breaded Schnitzel with Gravy and Mushrooms. Served with Spätzle (German egg pasta) and Red cabbage.]

Hubby likes bacon so he always substitutes his red cabbage with bacon and regular cabbage.

I have tried both pork and chicken and they taste the same to me. I prefer pork because it's cheaper and the portion is bigger (pork $ 21, chicken $ 22). I don't really eat pork and this is the only pork dish I like! Must give this place a try if you are a schnitzel fan! Their spätzle tastes great...

Delicious schnitzel offerings in a light industrial area (which explains their opening hours). Very casual, good for a quick meal alone or with family and friends. The gentleman providing front of house service was affable and ready to help. We enjoyed the classic Austrian and the Gypsy platters, with a side of kraut. Obviously everything is home made, tasty and made with care. Only suggestion I would offer would be to redo the platters as "pick your schnitzel, then choose two sides" as you may prefer a different choice then what has been preselected as an accompanying dish (eg. spatzel or roasted potatoes or German potato salad or fries / red cabbage or kraut). Would definitely...

The only complaint I ever have about the Schnitzel Works is that their short opening hours keep me from coming as frequently as I'd like. Their mainstay dishes are presented as sandwiches, but are really full-size moist but crispy pork schnitzels presented on giant kaiser rolls, with a variety of toppings, and are very filling. Platters (found on the monthly-specials menu) are mostly the same schnitzel, but bunless, and served with traditional side dishes. The spatzle and the sauerkraut are both very good but the red cabbage may well be the best I have ever encountered.

Delicious food, friendly people, good value; this is...

I came across this little spot while out running errands. I had been craving some good Eastern European food and am I ever glad I found this place. There are a lot of choices for schnitzel that should satisfy almost anyone. I went for the classic Weiner Schnitzel with lemon. The breading was light and crispy and the pork was appropriately thin. The German roasted potatoes were also tasty but that Spek Kraut....Om nom nom I could have eaten that all day. I will definitely head back. It's a tiny spot with a large parking lot and the staff were super friendly.
