First time trying Pearson Street Smash Burgers after all the crazy marketing (post almost everyday) these guys do on all the buy/sell pages to drum up business along with their own FB page. The reviews were amazing for the business so we thought what the heck let's give er a go. Heading to the baseball/kids play area parking lot you are greated by the amazing smell of cow maneaur. I mean that's that's not their fault but it set the stage. Food came quickly with no issues - the food is realtively well priced considering the price of food now a days so no issues there - I'll pay for quality. We took dine out option and went somewhere else that had less of a "smell". It was a bit dissapointing in all honesty compared to the raving reviews. The potato style bun ruined the whole hamburger for me. If it was an average sesame seed bun I think it would have been a lot better - it was also lacking salt. A seasoning like A&W would have been amazing on it with a normal bun. The coleslaw was average. The grilled cheese was average - not the tastiest - again the type of bread ruined it for me. The poutine however was very good - good cheese to sauce ratio. I don't think I'd go back unless I wanted the...

This place rocks! We traveled upwards of an hour twice to get to this place and it was definitely worth the hype! We drove on a Tuesday afternoon but they were closed and later realized that they only open on Tuesdays around 4pm. I should have paid more attention to their hours, my bad. And so off we went again the following week and got to try some of the best food that we have had in recent times. We got the triple original and the Xango. The burger tasted so good that we went again and got the hot and smokey the second time around. Both burgers were equally good and I had a tough time deciding which one I enjoyed more. We skipped breakfast the following day because that’s how full we were lol. While I prefer pub style burgers, the ones at Pearsons might have been amongst the best burgers I have had in my lifetime. Thank you for the amazing dinner and for showcasing smash style burgers in a new light for me. No matter where you are, definitely look to take a detour or drive howmuchsoever to try out this amazing place!

We thought about booking them for our wedding but then again it’s a huge possibility that the bride and groom might end up eating the burgers instead of getting...

Ok foodies! I am sharing with you the newest, most amazing, delicious food truck to hit the town of Embrun. Less then 30 minutes from Ottawa, you will find THE BEST burger (in my opinion, of course) you will ever put in your mouth. Now picture this, a smashed burger on a potato bun, topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, bacon (added), cheese and special sauce. Chef Chris and his team run the Pearson Street SmashBurger n' Melts food truck, they just opened on June 10th, they are still looking to add to their menu, so if you have suggestions they would love to hear about it. They are located in the parking lot of a local brewery called Tuque brewery. From the first bite, I knew I had to share just how tasty all the food was. We each had an original double smashed burger with a poutine to share, and Illyana had a bacon poutine. The chef and his team delivered great food and we left with full tummy. We also decided to add a glass of beer to accompany our great burger. We can't wait to go again, this is a must try!! #Supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker...

Today’s adventure took me to Pearson Street Smash Burger. In Embrun Ontario. Drop everything and get to this place! What an atmosphere, friendly and upbeat. What a happy bunch. It’s a family run, family staffed fine dining food trailer! I would say some of the world renowned restaurants would learn from these people. The menu is in the picture and I would say. No I would guarantee anything you ordered is excellent! I had the Pearson Street original as is in the menu. Perfection that’s it. This Hass to be the best burger all time! They use potato bread, buns, unheard of, but amazing local owned locally sourced Angus beef, the best and the sauce top notch if you’re disappointed in anything on the menu, check yourself into the hospital. Somethings wrong. The fries are hand, cut like made that minute when you order them hot fresh salty the best! While I was talking with the staff it starting to sprinkle a little bit. They brought out umbrellas for people. Who does this customer orientated people that’s who! Worth the drive get there it’s that good you got to eat here!
