The Bagel Run — Restaurant in Ottawa

I order the vegetarian bagel , the sweet Potatoes and ginger soup and 2 chicken samosas through Uber eats. For the veggie bagel , I added in the notes section to add red onion and chicken. I did NOT receive the chicken. They were out of sweet potatoes and ginger soup, I was notified though the app of this and switched to the squash apple soup. Uber eats charged me for the soup and I even saw that the order was out through on my end. I DID NOT receive my soup. I spoke with a young lady named Laura 2 times and explained to her the situation, she seemed nice and understanding and offered to deliver the soup to me on her way home as I live 5 min drive from the store. Miss Laura did not show up at my house , I gave my phone number and detailed information and I was never notified. The samosas taste really bad and where cold.

Ordered a Breakfast Sandwich and Smoked Meat Sandwich. Only reason I caught what happened was because they were laughing hysterically which caught my attention; So I watched the rest of the assembly.

One worker assembled all the ingredients onto one sandwich and when they noticed they just moved the ingredients over and made a new bagel with the same ingredients. I have an allergy to beef and this could have been a severe mistake. I prompted them and they made new eggs (only eggs). Which is when I realized they microwave everything...I Take it anyways because I made the decision to eat here so I open it and it is a mangled mess because of all of the handling and re-handling. The eggs weren't cooked all the way through and looked like 3/4 scrambled.

Bagel was decent but only had three options of plain, sesame or everything, so there's that.

I've been frequenting Bagel Run for many years. While the bagels are quite delicious, the service has always left a little to be desired. After today's experience I will never darken their doors again. I was the only person at the cash initially but the two ladies who were serving were too busy laughing it up & chatting on the phone to bother with me. People who came after were obviously friends were served while I stood & fumed. After 5 minutes with no eye contact or acknowledgment I left in disgust to the sound of catcalls from their "friends ". Awesome I have over 35 years experience in the service industry so I know a thing or two about the restaurant business. Apparently Bagel Run doesn't need or want my hard earned dollars. No problem!
