Café Terrasse La Tanière — Restaurant in Otterburn Park

Online it said that brunch was open until 4, got there at 2:30, after sitting down they tell us brunch ends at 2.

We ask about the salmon tartare, what it comes with. Waitress not sure, she comes back and says there are no more fries or potatoes. Insane…the restaurant has been open since 1994 and they don’t have enough potatoes for a busy fall weekend.

We stick with the Measly salmon tartare, not as good as chain restaurants like keg or Lucille’s. Came with what looked like sandwich bread.

We asked for coffee, regular filtered coffee, it was approx 4$…for a regular coffee? Not a cappuccino or latte.

$50 for two people, awful waste of money, go to a chain restaurant instead like Ben...

We just parked at the restaurant, and the owner came outside and kept yelling at us to leave because parking is only for people going to the restaurant. I tried to tell him that we are, but we wanted to look at the name of the cafe next door. He refused to listen to us and kept yelling over us to leave. Extremely rude and disappointing. Une déception totale. La crêpe pour enfants, tellement mince qu’elle ne vaut pas le prix de neuf dollars. En plus il nous disent qu’ils mettent les fruits du moment nous sommes à côté de verger, il n’y a même pas un morceau de pomme. Les œufs bénédictines, le pain n’est même pas frais il a été réchauffé il n’y a presque pas de saumon il manque vraiment d’appréciation Les patates ne sont pas cuites dans une belle huile, il goûte le brûlé et la vieille huile et de plus sont vraiment très foncés. Ça ne vaut vraiment pas le prix. Le déjeuner à dos de cheval, ils servent un tournedos quand on demande médium saignant, le sang coule dans l’assiette et l’intérieur du steak est froid puis pour le prix ils ne me mettent même pas une tasse inclus. La tasse est à part L’étrange de tomates sont très minces que les deux ensemble, ne valent même pas une tranche réel C’est dommage car l’endroit est accueillant, chaleureux belle place. Par contre pour les assiettes, c’est vraiment du vol. Nous avons déjeuné deux adultes, un enfant pour 70 $ je comprends maintenant au Québec nous avons plus grand chose pour ce prix, mais un petit peu plus aurait été équitable par...
