Ray I seen you at the Paradise store the other day but you left before I could get your attention. Here is a copy of an text I sent in July.
Greg, I am in PEI at the moment at our summer place. I was going to contact you before I left newfoundland but decided to let things go. Now that I am here and see our serious covid is being taken i decided to share what i abserved. I would go to the paradise store just about every afternoon and evening, people would sit and leave and more would come sit and leave and tables were not being looked after with the exception if John Newman was working then he always looked after the tables but lf he was off forget it. The straw that broke the camels back was the night I was in there and the server after handling a twenty and giving change back to the person in front of me wanted to serve me with the same gloves on, not likely and I had someone else get my coffee and donut thats when I was going to contact you. Here in PEI they have place holders on the tables with cards in them one with a big red X that states do not use and the other with a green check mark stating that the table is sanitized and ready for use, makes you feel comfortable about using. It bothered me so much home that if I left to go to Tim's from the house I use to take a sanitizing wipe with me in a baggy, pretty bad when you feel you have to do that, maybe I should have let you know, its not your fault I am sure you done everything you should have but seriously some of the staff there are really brutal. Regards my friend
Problem is I have been back for a couple of weeks now but nothing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTimās in Paradise is the best in the metro area in my opinion. And that is 100% due to the Amazing staff! Iāve know Margo and Lorraine for a few years now, strictly from Timās, they are always kind, funny and a great addition to my morning routine, and since Sherry has moved to this location she brings the same energy. I call them my Timās buddies now, they recognize my car and pups and ask about my family and day, it makes it so much more personal, as a regular customer I appreciate that. There are also so many other great, kind, reliable (getting my order correct) staff there who I cannot name by name, always with a smile and kindness to share. The young guy who is typically on the drive through in the morning is knowledgeable about the system, he can input the orders quickly without mistakes and ensuring you get the best deal if applicable, the staff are all very patient and kind. There are a few men who frequent the location who have developmental issues and Iāve only ever witnessed kindness from the staff towards them, even when I know it must sometimes be frustrating as itās a busy location. I also nice that they hire young local students to work afternoon shifts or on the weekends. Itās an environment, while busy and demanding, that I would encourage my own teen to apply too when the time comes for her to look for a part time job. I really hope upper management recognizes the diamonds they have in their staff as itās what keeps brining me back, knowing my Order will be correct, and served with a smile. Much appreciation to you all!
Kindness always, Tracy in the green car...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen going to the store for years, only reason still going it is in my neighborhood. Over the years been there twice when they were out of coffee, waiting for it to come in from another store. You can never get a consistent cup of coffee, every coffee tastes different. And burnt coffe oh how many have I had, unreal. And staff are never properly trained , just put on the cash and told hear take orders. And you can see it in their faces. Frustrated and upset. This comes from poor management. Thus do not stay around. Another one of my main beefs, is that the in store line up could be out to the main road, but as along as there is one car in the drive thru, drive thru takes priority. No one comes and help get the customers in store thru faster. If you wanted too I could keep going. And I daily frequent your stores in Bay Robert's, Carbonear and Whitbourne and when I compare Paradise store to these stores, WOW what a difference. No comparison. But having said that Paradise does have a few good people. The early morning crew before 6 are excellent. And during the day Sage, provides that smile and friendliness, and makes sure your order is correct. In conclusion if another coffee franchise, set up on the parking lot, this store would not...
