A&W Canada — Restaurant in Peachland

We went there on Sunday July 23/2023 around 8:10 in the morning. The East Indian girl at the till was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She had no greeting, no smiles. We were trying to order the breakfast sandwich deal offered on the app but It wouldn’t work, the girl wasn’t getting the order on her ipad. She started to be impatient and doing us the nasty eyes. We didn’t understand why she was acting like that as we were the only ones at the till, it wasn’t busy at all. After waiting a few minutes for her to receive the order, we asked her if we could just get the deal because we didn’t want to wait any longer. She started to be elevated, talking loudly and rudely to us that we couldn’t get the deal if she didn’t receive it. After a moment, we were still waiting and I said that it was ridiculous that we had to wait that long. She started yelling at us, replying very rudely and impolitely to us. Then she left and went in the back kitchen yelling at the other employee about the whole situation. She should not be working in the public, customer service field. This was one of the worst experience we had so far. We left without buying any breakfast. We will never go back to that A&W. It doesn’t even...

Slow kitchen, waited behind one vehicle for about 5 minutes to come to the window and told they need to put a beef patty on the grill for my burger. I don't have experience in fast food but would think that price process would start soon after order. Was asked to pull into parking lot and waited another 5 minutes. Didn't seem very busy inside

After getting my meal I checked the contents and found the order was wrong, but of course no receipt was given to me, so I went inside (for sake of principle). The worker tried to deflect a refund, indicating it was just a slight difference. I had to wait another 5 minutes for onion rings to be made and got my $0.80 back (lucky me!).

The manager should have responded to the poor performance with more enthusiasm to make the visit (which was obviously not very good) much better. I hate having to spell things out for people but "its on us" would have been the minimum expectation that would demonstrate they take pride in their...

Drive-thru at approximately 5:00pm on Thursday, 01/27/22 - franchise at the Peachland strip mall. I think probably the best fast-food meal that I've ever had.

Freshly cooked fries, nice and hot on a cold winter's night, the hottest take-out fries I believe I've ever had. And officially one of the longest too - 5" (that's what she said).

Good burger too. A&W's coupon book is really the only coupon book that I use. I don't eat fast-food that often but these coupon books are good... actual savings.
