Basil Leaf Asian Fusion Restaurant - Peachland — Restaurant in Peachland

The first time we tried this restaurant, we ate in for lunch. The staff seemed frazzled and they were unable to do’s very simple menu option change. The door came out at different times (it was only my husband and I in the whole restaurant). The food was just OK.

We thought we would give it another try, so tonight we ordered take-out. The girl said to come in 15-20 minutes. We arrived within 17 minutes and again, frazzled and unpleasant staff. When we got home, the food was already cold and they forgot both of our shrimp skewers, which we paid extra for. Also no fish sauce with the vermicelli bowls, which made it pretty dry and unappetizing to eat.

Where else can you get Vietnamese food in Peachland? Other than Peachland Sushi and Dragon Lotus, this is your other Asian food option in the area and it doesn't disappoint. Support your local family-run restaurants if you want them to stick around. I've been to the other franchise locations in Kelowna and even though they use the same recipes, the pho bowl here had a deeper flavour and presentation. Cooking method is important too! The deep fried spring rolls are great to start. They're still working out a few "new business" kinks, but they have the experience. Wow, super unimpressed. Have eaten here before in the past and have enjoyed It. As well as happily paid extra money for proteins that were never included in my order and just accepted it. However when I tried to order today they told me when I mentioned my peanut allergy that they could not serve me because of variety of peanut products in the kitchen. However after spending 13 years in kitchens. It was essentially saying we don't want to wash a cutting board and grab ingredients from the cooler away from the peanuts.
