My son's experience with Bliss Bakery. He asked them to fill out paperwork regarding his work experience and they told him that they would complete the paperwork. A month went by and when my son phoned to see if the paperwork was complete they told him that they lost it. My son then dropped off more paperwork and two weeks later called asking if they had it completed in which they told him “he wasn't a priority.” I then called Bliss Bakery and tried to explain to them they were not obligated to fill out the paperwork, but since they had told my son they would, to please follow through with their promise. The female owner was quite rude and told me that my son was not a priority. I told her that I didn't expect the paperwork to be done that day but perhaps in the next week since they had already told my son twice it would be completed. Well instead of completing the paperwork. The owner phoned the school, wasting the councellor's, my son's and my time stating that they would not be filling out the paperwork. The school then had to phone me and let me know but told me that regardless of the way Bliss Bakery acted that he would still be getting his credits. If Bliss Bakery had just told my son from the beginning that they were not going to fill out the paperwork all this could have been avoided.Unfortunately, sometimes kids have to learn the hard way that not so reputable companies do exist. I do believe that because a grown up called them on their lack of actions they were trying to be spiteful to my son which is highly unfortunate. THEN, I received another phone call from the school because Bliss Bakery was upset I wrote about about them on another review website. When you run a company and subject yourself to websites that have reviews, if you treat people unfairly, you will receive a poor review. You can't ask that it be taken down because you didn't get a good review! I believe when you promise anyone, especially a young individual that you are going to do something you follow through with your word. Bliss Bakery lacks integrity and I will never shop...
Read morePlease read. Bliss Bakery is a terrible restaurant and the employees are grumpy, rude and entitled!!
First: Bliss Bakery is probably the only place in BC that still requires a mask and vaccine passport in 2022!! I am 56-year old mam with a medical exemption (hard to breathe with mask on) and they still forced one onto my face and told me I was not exempt!! The young man working on the machine was very kind and allowed me to pull my mask down to breathe, but every lady there said to wear again!!
Second: I loved all the people who live in Peachland when I first move here last year. Everyone is so very nice and thoughtful and now I see it is because the worst people in Peachland are always working at Bliss!! Older woman who lives there say she "can not understand my accent." So rude!! I have been fluent with English since a very young age.
Finally: when sitting and trying to enjoy my food, song came on the speakers with VERY inappropriate lyrics. It said "I love my Japanese Squeeze." And then "beautiful woman so s*xy" Kids are supposed to eat here? I am a Japanese man to take offense to this...
Not a family establishment, Not safe for anybody who is not white Not safe for anybody with mask exemption or vaccine exemption
I had a terrible...
Read moreHad the WORST customer service experience this morning. We ordered 3 pastries and a coffee and wanted a glass of water to go and the rudest young lady refused to give us a cup.
We were dismissed with " We can't give these out!" We replied We are willing to pay how much is a cup? Again... No!!! I asked to speak to a manager & then the gal went to the back and told the story to someone else...upon her return we were handed a coffee cup wirh no explanation.
How rude!!! The attitude, body language, lack of friendliness is appalling. If this gal was employed by myself she would be fired for treating customers in this manner.
BLISS doesn't seem to understand that they are in the customer service business. I'm pretty sure that they were making good enough Margins on the 3 pastries & the coffee that we purchased that would have more than offset the cost of what a $.025 take out cup for water???
I had the lemon cranberry scone which was pretty average at best. 2 tiny pieces of dried cranberry as far as the fruit for the scone and rhe rest was dough with a layer of icing.
Will not be going back and do not recommend. I do not appreciate sour service and unfriendly faces during...
