They should be ashamed calling their dish Thai. I ordered Beef spicy noodle, shrimp spring rolls, beef salad, and coconut sticky rice. First of all, they look nothing like the picture on their website. Second of all, I only found 2 piece of sad looking basil leaf in my beef spicy noodle, and that was all the visible Thai herb in my entire course of meal. [The shrimp spring roll] Terrible design. I don't know who thought about it, like it's forcing you to share with someone with two shrimp tails sticking out? Am I supposed to eat with my husband and we meet at the center or something? So hard to eat and visually nothing pleasing, also 10$ for two spring rolls, absolutely rip off. [Spicy beef noodle] This was more like flat beef noodle you get at Chinese restaurant, except beef was way harder and noodle all chopped short and sticking together. Flavor was OK, edible if you didn't tell me this was Thai dish. [Thai beef salad] I had this salad in Eat BKK Thai restaurant and loved it. The rare beef steak beef with coriander, basil, lime juice created flavorful and zesty taste pallet. This place, beef was rock hard, there was a chunk of salad leaf (like they didn't even bother to break apart), with no herbs on sight. [coconut sticky rice] I don't know how can any restaurant mess this dish. The portion was massive, which would have been a good thing however, the sticky rice was hard, which was covered with cashews that got completely soggy due to moisture. I do know sticky rice gets hard as it gets cold, but this hardness isn't from temperature. It was more like bubble tea store selling you the left over tapioca. Now, apparently this franchise isn't bad, according to my husband, the Scarborough location was really good and he used to go. I hope some quality control gets into this store soon.

I ordered online through their site which says that I would get a 15% discount on pickup if my order was over $20. It even showed me the discounted rates on the order since my total was coming up to around $28. When I went to pick up the food, the total on the receipt did not have the discount applied even though the individual dishes showed the discounted price (i.e., the numbers didn’t add up). When I asked the lady at the front, she told me that the order had to be over $30 in order to get the discount. I told her that the website said $20 to which she said that it was a mistake and she didn’t know why the discounted rates were shown but not reflected in the receipt total. When I said that they needed to fix the order minimum on the website, she told me they had no control over that. To that I said how can that be, you should call head office and point it out to them? And the answer I got…..”why don’t You call them”. Unbelievable!

Pros: - Service was quick and the 2 ladies who were serving us were really nice. One of them even gave us a complimentary mango salad - Easy to find a parking spot - Foods were reasonably priced. We ordered 8-9 meals and only spent around $120 altogether. - Generous portions - Tom Yum soup was delicious and their Malay Curry was outstanding too. - Mango and Seafood salads were Yummy and refreshing. - The ambience was nice for a family, and the place was cleanly maintained - They offered some promos on deliveries and pickups Cons: - Their Samosa was a bit bland - Marinated Grilled Chicken and Beef Fried Rice needed more seasonings or spices or more basil leaves, as they didn't have these kinds of strong Thai flavors as expected from Thai's dishes. All in all I definitely recommend this place, and we'll come back to try their other menus.

I am rewriting my previous 5 star review of this restaurant with sadness. I have been a regular customer for years. I ordered delivery around 6pm and was notified it would take 45 minutes to receive my order. It did not arrive until after 7pm, and the order was completely wrong. I called the restaurant and the person who answered listened to my issue and told me they would return my call within a few minutes. After 20 minutes and not getting called back I drove to the restaurant to return the incorrect order. I informed the employee about the situation and they took the incorrect order to the back without saying a word to me. He came back out to the front with a few other bags of food and I stood there for about 10 minutes without any idea what was happening. Finally I asked what was going on with my order and he said they were remaking it. I asked how they would compensate me for the inconvenience and he stared at me like I was crazy. Then I asked for my tip back since I had to come out to get my order and he grumbled and then shouted to the back about me wanting the tip back, which made me quite uncomfortable. Ultimately he gave me back most of the tip, and the food, once received, was delicious as always, but this experience was not a good one. It was supposed to be a fun date night in with my wife, and and I feel like too much time was wasted with...

We scheduled an order thru UberEats more than 6 hours prior to when we wanted delivery on Mothers day. They kept extending when our food was to arrive, and when our order was already an hour late they cancelled our order. Tried calling the restaurant to.find out why, with almost 2 hours to go before they close, and it just goes to an answering machine. Would give them a zero rating if we could.

Update: 1hour after they cancelled our order and had to find another place to order from, we tried calling again and they finally answered. They said a driver had picked up our food (which Uber would have notified us of) and that the driver must have cancelled the order. Drivers cannot cancel orders. We know, we are also restaurant owners with Uber and know how it works. We think Thai One On was embarrassed at how late they were with our order and cancelled it on us. They should be ashamed. They blamed it on being a busy night for being late..and we said it didn't matter because we were a scheduled order and should have had priority, which is how we do things at our restaurant when someone schedules an Uber order. We are now eating 2 hours later than we planned thanks to...
