KRUNCHICKEN — Restaurant in Pitt Meadows

We used to buy Korean fried chicken from this store whenever we feel like craving for a delicious fried chicken. Yesterday we drove by the place and I ordered half soy garlic chicken. It came with a smaller box and I thought maybe they're saving on paper consumption which is a good idea. Unfortunately when we arrived home and open the box we were so disappointed to find out the amount of chicken wasn't what we use to get from them. It was tidbits of chicken with a few bite size nuggets in it! What's happening here? You have a delicious product but why the sudden decrease in the amount of serving? It would be hard to consider what I got last night as half of a whole chicken. May 15, 2024 - I dropped by for the first time after the last disappointing experience. The business is now under a new name and owner. The service was nice, friendly, and accommodating ( she let me use their bathroom at the back). First time to this Korean fried chicken place after its changing to a new management (it was Chicko Chicken before). The staff are very polite and friendly. I ordered a take-away full original chicken, before I left, the staff gave me a container of honey garlic soya sauce (free) which she recommends. While waiting for my order, two kiddos were having a Waffle Original meal, and from their facial I can tell they enjoyed it very much. The chicken are very crispy and tasty when I eat it at home. It has been over 45 minutes now, I don't feel thirty which is not uncommon to me when eating fried stuff. Too bad this place doesn't have bone-in menu (which Chicko has), otherwise holding a chunk of bone-in chicken with fingers is sensational. I recommend this Krunchicken which is in Osprey Village,...

I'm posting this because I wanted to go try this place yesterday and went around 9 - 930pm and was excited to try this place. My little brother has been twice now and is raving about how great it is. However when I showed up, they were closed even though their website and front door says 10pm. It kind of sucks when it's late and you get off work and you're looking for a place to eat and in the ridge meadows area, there's not a lot of options for late food. When I briefly spoke with the staff, they said that their closing time was suppose to ten but only explained that they want to change it but haven't. I'm mainly posting this so others can see that the times can be misleading and maybe call the restaurant ahead of time to see if they are closing early...
