Caveat Emptor... let the buyer beware Very disappointing. Without a doubt, the worst meal we have ever been served in our now 3 visits to Newfoundland. There have been very few others sub-par. The food was overcooked & served lukewarm. The restaurant was not busy. Bones throughout my sweetie's fish cake & it was the best thing in her Dorset Basket. A side of gravy ordered was not presented & when trying to rectify, attempted to search out someone, not a soul to be found (even knocked on kitchen(?) door. When someone finally appeared, I got their attention only to be provided with a lukewarm small gravy boat. The assortment of Newfoundland favourites in my Maritime Archaic Platter, ordered pan fried, much of which appeared frozen Captain High.... stuff. The salmon was the only decent item on the plate. My meal called for "All above are served with choice of potato, rice, vegetable, or pasta, roll and tea or coffee." Not asked for selections, no roll provided. Not asked about tea/coffee. And in this day & age, not accessible. A young lady (customer) seeing our attempting to navigate the entrance door on the small landing with sweetie's walker, jumped to our assistance to hold the door open. Best part of the visit.

Fish and chips were fantastic here, highly recommend. Service was super friendly and helpful. I would come back again.

Really enjoyed our dinner. A great little restaurant and they're Trump supporters, too. Trump2020!

Me and my husband were at your restaurant Aug 31,for Lunch. While we were waiting our meal .There was the owner of the restaurant. She was what we thought was cleaning the fish tank that had two beautiful gold fish in it ..Will we are animal lovers right in front of us with a cooking pot scoping out the water from the fish tank .AND threw the live fish in front of her store in the flower bed..we were disgusted. My husband spoke up And said that’s an animal and she had no right to killed the fish like she did .heartless with no thought to what she just done.We never ate our meal and just walk out of this...

Fish chowder was good, pea soup was not great. Peas still hard, more carrots and potatoes than anything else, each soup came with a roll that had been severely heated in a microwave, too hot and rubbery. So due to a wildly rainy evening we gave this place a second chance, ordered steamed mussels. They arrived well after the accompanying onion rings and my partners meal, cold, and that was it....steamed, no broth of any kind, just a pool of cold water and nuked butter on the side. Theymwere returned to server, took quite some time for a replacement. These were hot, one third empty shells. Overall 2 stars...
