I have celiac disease - this means I can’t eat gluten. My husband ordered a GLUTEN FREE GARLIC BREAD. Only after I’d eaten it did I notice their uber page notes in the title of this item “gluten free garlic bread not a guaranteed gluten free experience”. HOWEVER, this is not noted when it’s suggested as an add-on to the meal you’re ordering. This means, the only label my husband saw was “gluten free”, which is both inaccurate and dishonest.

I panic, I already didn’t trust the bread but I’d eaten some… I have him call the store. He asks them if the garlic bread he’d just ordered is gluten free. They say “oh yeah, but we can’t guarantee the garlic spread is, sometimes it has gluten in it”

I was up all night throwing up, because again, I cannot consume gluten, it is dangerous for me when I do.

Thanks, guys! Super appreciate your service and commitment to dietary needs. This kind of labelling actually harms people. You need to do better. If it’s not safe for someone with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, it should not be labelled...

So happy to have a Firehouse Subs location in our town. I used to drive all the way to Welland for it but now I don't need to. I will be a regular at the Port Colborne location.

Yesterday, I visited the firehouse subs first time and the food was delicious. Khushi, Navpreet and Saman provided great service. Khushi took my order and She greeted me with smile and they all were so great and welcome we so warmly. I liked it so much and I would recommend others to visit this place and I will definitely visit again...
