I had a very last minute order for cupcakes and while I was at it I asked for a foccaccia loaf as well.

Not only did she give me a wide array of options, Anita gave me pricing upfront and was even willing to do prints if I wanted them.

I was grateful enough that they took my last minute order. What I was not expecting was the receive the most decadent cupcakes I have ever eaten. I chose chocolate cupcake with salted caramel icing, topped with pecans and more salted caramel. I was giddy to find out from my first bite the icing was butter cream and it was so dense and delightful I scarfed down that confection so quick. But not so quickly that I didn't notice how light and fluffy rhe cake itself was. It was the perfect contrast to the icing and the pecans gave the perfect crunch to break up the smooth and soft textures.

Now for the foccaccia hooooly moooly. It was light, airy, seasoned well, and oily in a way that made it melt so beautifully in my mouth. I used it for dipping in oil and balsamic, it was so tasty!

I loved my experience here and I look forward to trying more options from LA Dolce! I also saw they have pre-made soups ready to go if you're ever looking for home made...

Owner was rather ignorant to my wife last time she was in. We always go in, every Wednesday, and we get 2 loaves of sourdough. She was told early on if she wanted MORE than that, to call ahead of time order it they can make extra. So 2 loaves is our bread for the week. Well this time he told her that suddenly 2 loaves is too many and if she wants 2, she'll have to call ahead and order extra. Now, it was early in the morning and she was on her way to work and in a bit of a rush so she pulled in quickly to get her two loaves and he refused to even serve her because apparently she was parked crooked in the parking lot and he wouldn't give her service until she moved her vehicle (she was the only one even there at this time). He then also told her that she could no longer get two loaves of sourdough. And the loaf she brought home wasn't even very good! The bottom was overcooked and the air pockets inside were so big, the loaf was essentially hollow. I think we'll go to Spinosa's...

I just read the previous review and couldn't disagree more about the service at this bakery! I go in about once a week and have never had a bad experience.Last Saturday I bought some Thanksgiving cookies and made a comment on how unique they were. A male ( I later found out he was the owner) overheard my comment and took the time to explain all about the features of the cookie; you can paint on them. He listed the steps for best results and the fact that they could be customized. I question the previous customers review when they state that the place was full of customers as the sign clearly says"only 2 customers at a time". How can you get bad service with only two people being served! Yes The Pie Guys is certainly an option but I prefer the cheese scones and variety of items at this bakery.
