Avondale Food Stores — Local services in Port Colborne

On Sunday July 25th around 5:00 pm, cashier #0080007 treated me very poorly. I was in to check and replay my Lotto. I had a few tickets to check. When he scanned the 1st one, and replayed it, he did not want to pass it back to me to sign. He wanted to keep them all by the lotto machine and then pass them to me when he was done. I play these tickets every week and the cashiers always pass the tickets to me individually to sign. He made it worse by grabbing the tickets out of my hand. I told him he was making it worse as I was going to write a Google review, but he didn't seem to care and continued to grab the tickets out of my hand. His response was, I could leave and go to a different store and that he's so glad he's done this job soon . Terrible service with me! However my daughter went in before me, she told me he was so nice to her. All customers should be treated equally, no matter the situation. He should have remained...

Two of the staff at this location appear to really hate their customers. They'll cop an attitude if you have the nerve to ask a question or inconvenience them in any way (including interrupting their smoke break outside). One time they actually threw my husband's lottery tickets at him because he didn't sign them first and he couldn't confirm if they were all winners or not...he was only double checking them. It's just not worth the hassle to go to this...
