La Suerte Bakery and Resto — Restaurant in Prince Albert

If you haven’t been to La Suerte Bakery and Resto yet, you’re seriously missing out! I popped in and grabbed a couple of their donuts, and wow — pure happiness in every bite.

One was covered in a rainbow of sprinkles (because obviously, sprinkles make everything better), and the other had coconut, chocolate, AND a drizzle of something magical on top. Both were fresh, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet without being overwhelming.

Friendly people, cozy atmosphere, and treats that feel like a little celebration. Whether you’re craving savory Fillipino delciousness or just want to treat yourself to something special, I 100% recommend stopping by!

Ordered an anniversary cake two weeks ago. Received a text confirming it would be ready when requested. Upon arriving I still had to wait 40 minutes (despite the text update) for a cake nowhere near what I ordered. I requested red flowers, I got orange, purple and pink. Requested fondant icing, got buttercream. I ordered in person and watched him write the details down. I consider this all careless on a cake I had given two weeks notice for. Cost was $100 which I naively paid up front.

The owner said he didn't know why people came to him for cakes. I had assumed the idea of custom cakes to order was a standard concept for a bakery. Will not be back.
