Update. In addition to what's happened below. I made an order on the app and it didn't go through on the app. It started processing then returned me to complete order in app. However the charge went through. Indicating that this order processed in their system enough for it to receive payment. So I guess this restaurant in particular is ok with completing an order even without handing out the product that was paid for. Which is theft and fraud. I will be contacting consumer protections for this as their email interaction with me provided no assistance to repealing the money I spent.
Edit. I was double charged. Employee straight up denied it. Even when I showed her the charge went through. She doubled down and said it was cancelled, even with evidence shown. Manager thought it was a good idea to investigate and question the employee who double charged me instead of talking to me. I had evidence. Her account while dealing with me was unnecessary. The manager also promised I would be in the book for free food as compensation. When I went to claim this agreement. I was not in the book. Extremely upset at this experience. Usually experiencing them in person (not so much delivery) is pretty good compared to every other location.
Apparently burnt bagels are ok to send out as long as...
Read moreWent here two weekends ago for coffee with my sister dropped her off at the front to use the bathroom. Told her to meet me at the end of the drive through. The lady at the checkout where you get your food was looking and looking and pointing at her. Finally I realized she was pointing at my sister. The worker thought my sister was begging for change. How embarassing. She wasn't even looking at the people in the drive though. if you looked at her you could tell she was waiting. If you looked at her you could tell she's not a homeless drug addict. I said to the lady, " what? That my sister! She waiting for me to get our coffees!" She was so judgemental and rude. I can't believe it happened. I haven't went to McDonald's since. I useto go there everyday for atleast coffee. Now I go to Timmy's. I also useto take 4 kids there every weekend and 2 adults and buy everyone meals at least once a weekend. I will pay a little extra and go to A&w or to Wendy's. I refuse to go back there. Also can rarely get a smile feels like alot of the times they look at you like they hate you. Well I'm not wanting to go somewhere where I am hated. McDonalds sure went down hill with there customer service. Not worth the...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this McDonald’s pretty often, and today I had an experience that really stood out. I think the manager, Mann, was the one who helped me—he seemed to be in charge.
I made a mistake with my order and accidentally picked the wrong item. I went up to the counter, a bit embarrassed, but Mann greeted me with a smile and made me feel totally at ease. He didn’t hesitate for a second and quickly fixed the issue, no questions asked. I really appreciated how calm and friendly he was throughout the whole thing.
He handled the situation so well—corrected my order with no hassle and made sure I was satisfied. It wasn’t just about fixing the mistake; it was the way he did it, with a positive attitude and a genuine smile. It really made my day.
Honestly, this McDonald's always provides good service, but Mann really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. It’s rare to see that level of customer care, and it’s why I’ll keep...
