Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Prince George

So check this out. Yesterday my son and I were waiting at the till waiting to order and there was people behind me after a while no one came to take our order and this one girl walked past me at lest 10 times with out even looking at us and the man aswell. He even came to the donut display and got a donut and apsolutly didn't even acknowledge us! There was a girl even sweeping sweet nothing mosing around and she looked at me quite a few times and kept sweeping she didn't even stop to take an order. I guess sweeping sweet nothing is more important. not ONE person came and said "I'll just be a moment" or "I'll be with you in a minute" just nothing !! For almost 10 minutes! I told my son when I was younger if I did any of that, I would of gotten fired when I worked at time hortons as a kid. I needed up taking out my phone recording the complete unprofessionalism I have ever witnessed after 10 minutes of this a girl finally comes to the till and sees me recording and she laughed and yelled it out and went to the girls at the drive through window and was laughing about it but damn did I have alot to say. The manager FINALLY comes out and at this point im in complete discuss of their staff and I definitely had alot to say about what was going on. She said she would review the footage and what not but how can you hire complete unprofessional customer service of people who have no clue how to work in customer service in anyway possible. I left furious with nothing but rage about the whole situation. Also I should add they have no clue how to put a wrap together it blows my mind!

In all my years this was actually the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my life. And the manager should of taken my order personally because obviously her staff is incapable and well I guess she is to.

Tim Hortons- Food- Sadly T.H. products have been in decline since being the restaurant chain was bought out by the same company as burger king. I'll give a few examples, -Sandwiches used to be made with whole or half pieces of lettuce, now they are made with shredded lettuce- they quality is so poor, that the lettuce actually makes the sandwiches taste bad. -Simple donuts like Long Johns are now considered speciality donuts and you have to pay more money for sprinkles on your donut than a glaze?? I understand cost and sourcing but these donuts cost pennies in the difference to make. -All items are shipped in premade and defrosted on site, donuts, breads, soups etc. There is nothing always fresh about any of their products unless you are getting a coffee which they do change every 15 minutes. Interior- The windows are always filthy with streaky smears all over them. I don't understand why management doesnt hire someone to clean the windows or dedicate a staff member to cleaning them properly. The cafe was beautiful when built, but it is getting tired, vinyl bench seats starting to tear, wallpaper ripped in places. Chairs by fireplace in rough shape. *Note though that the chairs bybthe fireplace are great and probably the most popular chairs in the house, it offers a nice touch which customers...

I go here for the ice caps, cold brews, ice coffees. Cheap and reliable and don’t punch you in the face with burnt espresso flavour. The coffee drinks are the perfect level of sweetness for me. Some could argue too sweet, but I prefer that over too bitter.

I prefer Tim’s over all other coffee chains and independents. The other ones are overpriced and burnt/bitter/faint flavours.

I do like some of their wraps, especially their farmers one. They really hit the spot when I feel like eating McDs. I like Tim’s quality better than McDs, when they get it right.

Nothing amazing here. But they do have reliable staples I go for here and you can’t beat the price point.

I never dine in. Just not the best vibe and not usually the cleanest looking or smelling. Pretty dated atmosphere if you ask me. Been the same washed out brown since… forever? Could use a rebrand and higher quality control on cleanliness.

Quality is variable from restaurant to restaurant and within each restaurant, but some orders are more reliable than others because they come premade.

You just have to experiment with your order to find out what to order and what to avoid.
