I know that everyone is short-staffed everywhere at the moment so I’m trying to be fair in my review but it isn’t an excuse for how unsanitary this restaurant is (Princeton). I stopped in on Sunday around 2 to grab a quick meal and ALL the garbages were overflowing (even the ones behind the service counters, empty bottles of juice, sugar all over the service counter. There were paper receipts all over the floor. I felt bad for the young employees that had a long line up of customers but noticed that instead of trying to clean up in between tasks, they just waited for the burgers from the kitchen to come their way (so I think the problem comes from management). I stopped in again on Monday evening thinking maybe things would be different but the state of the restaurant was just as bad and the bathrooms were absolutely nasty. It doesn’t stop to the interior. The outside dining area was definitely very dirty with accumulated grime from all summer. The tables are soiled with stains and the building isn’t very clean…. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like and hope this establishment gets inspected soon because it is definitely not sanitary and shouldn’t be operating the way it is...

I always order the spicy habanero chicken burger with NO tomato and EXTRA sauce. It usually takes them about 15-20 minutes in the drive thru to make it and it’s never right. They almost never put extra sauce on it or barely any sauce at all and always put tomato.
Today I ordered 2 spicy chipotle wraps, went to work and decided to eat them before I went in and there’s no sauce whatsoever on the wraps. I decided to go back because there’s no way I’m spending $7 for it to be wrong. Told the lady at the window and she took them saying they would be remade, she opens the bag and opens the wraps with her bare fingers, folds them up again and comes to the window hands me them saying there’s plenty of sauce on them and if I wanted more I should’ve asked. She handed me my same order back after digging through them with her bare hands. Highly disappointed. I ended up throwing them out as that’s disgusting.

Yesterday my family went to this A&W after seeing a big sign out front advertising a fish combo. They went in specifically for that, only to be told, “Nope, we don’t have any fish.” No apology, no explanation. So they ordered chicken burgers instead — which came with fries that were extremely mushy and soft . When they brought this up, staff simply didn’t care and responded with rudeness.
It was a scorching hot day, and when their drinks arrived with no ice, my parents politely asked for some. The response was, “Nope, we don’t have any.” No alternative offered, no empathy. The overall attitude from the staff toward them and other customers was shockingly dismissive and careless.
To make matters worse, when they complained about the Coke, the staff offered to refund 96 cents. As if that made up for the terrible service, bad food, and disrespectful treatment.
This location needs serious management attention. No customer should be treated this way especially for simply asking for what they ordered or for...
