Delicious food in a beautiful lumberjack cabin decor. This restaurant specializes in BBQ meats. Vegans, there is nothing for you here; vegetarians, there is not much either unless you are pesco-vegetarian. There are 'services' throughout the evening, so your table is good for 2h30-2h45 until it needs to be spared for the next reservation (and you have to make a reservation).

I highly suggest you come in a group (of 3 minimum) as the dishes are very expensive but if you split the bill, it's worth while in my opinion. I suggest you take as many plates as you want to try their many specilties. They also offer a 'Menu de degustation' for about 85$ each.

The highlights for us were: -The out of this world mac and cheese (with a delicious blend of cheeses and meats!). Seriously this creation was mind blowing, I never had such a delicious mac. -The melt in your mouth pastrami duck. -The soft and 'miraculous' sweet potato (half) -The famous big beef short rib (fatty and salty). They stock up on Thursday if I'm not mistaken, so it's 'first come first serve' with its availability. The price varies for the size and market value, and you can ask for their big BIG BIG rib if they have any (do it!).

I honestly think that the vegetable sides were extremely overpriced and not worth buying (15$ for 8 asperagus, 13$ for one roasted red bell pepper). Stick with the honorables mentioned above ;)

We finished up with their signature desserts: a big slice of cream cheese frosted carrot cake (very good and not too sweet, usually drizzled in a whisky/tobacco caramel sauce) and an enormous piece of sweet lemon meringue pie with a berry sauce.

I have to take out one star for the pricing, but apart from that it was a great...

I visited on a Monday evening because Google had great ratings and it showed that the restaurant was open. I showed up wondering how the heck is this restaurant open because no one was parked in the lot. Sure enough when I walked up to the front door I wasn’t able to open it because the restaurant was in fact closed. So I went and found another restaurant. I found the courage to return the following day and I’m so glad that I did. I made a reservation from Google for one person, and upon entering I was offered to place at the bar. it’s a very cosy and intimate restaurant, and I eventually made friends with the people sitting beside me. One of them was a regular, and he highly recommended the duck breast.. since it was my first time, they suggested that I tried the combo plate because then you can taste a little bit of everything. So I ordered the combo and had the sweet potato as my side.. oh my God the meal was delicious. The sweet potato top with mascarpone was heavenly. They have a few varieties of beers on top. Otherwise they have a full bar and really knowledgable bartenders. The Ian side was really great. The smell was out of a smoky barbeque hut. Actually when I got back to the hotel afterwards, I could smell campfire and it took me a really long time to figure out that I was the one who smelled like a campfire ha ha. Despite the slight mishap of that they were open on Monday I was very happy with my experience, and would highly recommend anyone to this place...

One of the best meals I've ever had. It's a southern BBQ and French fusion restaurant which in itself is a rare combo but they make it work. Staff are extremely friendly knowledgeable and approachable. They take the time to go through the menu with you dish by dish and explain each item in detail. You never need to ask twice or even ask for most things as they are constantly paying attention to whatever you may need. I had the Bicep Ceasar which was probably the best Ceasar I've ever had. It came with bourbon and fresh bacon on top and was amazing. I also had the fois gras, brisket, duck pastrami and Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. The brisket was juicy and tender with great flavor and that and the fois gras just melted in your mouth. The duck pastrami was something so unique I knew I had to try it. It was tender juicy and filled with so much flavor. But the Mac and cheese might of been the best I've ever had. It was rich creamy with OKA cheese and duck, full of flavor and everything Mac and cheese should be and more. Ive spent a good amount of time in in south at BBQ restaurants but none of it came close to what they have here. 5/5 easy anytime I come back to Quebec city I'll be making a reservation here. Just gotta make sure I book weeks in advance because this place fills up quick but...

Omg! Everything! The sampler sharing menu! The brisket, the ribs, the duck, the Mac and cheese, the sweet potatoes, the seafood hush puppies, and OMG, the pork rinds - the very best I have ever had, and I'm a southerner from the US and know what pork rinds should taste like. The maple, red ale beer sauce that coated the pork rinds is to die for. The entire sampler sharing menu is out of this world, Southern US inspired, damn good! I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place. The carrot cake is sooo good. It was our favorite over the lemon tart pie. The shot of bourbon with the bacon was a very nice surprise and added touch. The atmosphere is super fun and great. The servers and wait staff are also super fun, tentative, and happy to share all the deliciousness with their customers. If you don't eat meat, this place is not for you! Meat eaters, meat, and BBQ lovers, this place is chef's kiss 💋.
