PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE My family went in starving. We ordered Butter chicken, Garlic Naan, lamb curry and tandoori roti. Once we got our food, I turned my roti around and saw many big spots of RAW flour. Ignoring that, my family starting eating. My daughter was the most hungry so she took the first bite. Right when she put the food in her mouth, a big frown appeared. Curious, I took a bite and immediately understood why she frowned. The Naan was SWEET. The butter chicken was SWEET. The tandoori roti was SWEET. THERE WAS LITTERALY NO FLAVOUR. We weren't even going to taste the lamb curry. We couldn't even take another bite. Disgusted, I called the waiter over. I told the waiter what had happened and that we refused to eat anymore. The waiter said that the chefs could replace it but we were too disgusted to even try it. The waiter said that we couldn't waste food so we told him that we would pay. My family took one bite and dropped the food on our plates. We went over to the desk to pay. When it was our turn to pay, our waiter charged us full price for their disgusting food. Starving and angry, my family went out of the restaurant. We literally saved ourselves from food poisoning THIS RESTURANT IS A SHAME TO INDIAN PEOPLE AND FOOD THIS RESTURANT MAKES A FOOL OUT OF YOU PLEASE...

I write this review as I sit here in the restaurant. We have been here for 20 mins and it took a long time to get the waiters' attention. They have two waiters who also do double duty as the bartender and the cashier and.... one of them is new and does not understand the menu. We ordered our food and 10 mins later he came back out to reconfirm the order and to tell us some of those things we ordered are not there. And it's not even busy at this time of the night at 10pm. There are only 4 families here.

How can someone open a restaurant and not have enough people to manage the customers.

Once the food came, the aloo gobhi was not properly cooked and Matar Paneer was made with heavy cream (I have never seen that before).

Finally took 10 mins to just pay for the food but they could not give me a print out of the bill.

I think you're better off going to Saveur L'inde nearby - better food and you'll save at least 30 mins.

Response to Owner - You make it sound like you were doing a favor to all Desi people. Please keep in mind that you're charging for the food and it is reasonable to expect good service. The decision to keep the restaurant open till 10:30 is your decision - none of us came to you and requested...

TELL YOUR SERVER TO CONTROL HIS ANGER. 31 august around 8pm we visited here. The roti that we ordered it was raw. We just simply requested our server that it is not cooked at all, can they make it more crisp. He just pushed the serving cart in another table and showed us his anger and frustration this behaviour is not acceptable at all. There was one girl on the counter , seeing all this she didn’t react at all. Instead of looking into this matter and taking any action she asked us to pay for the dishes that we ordered so we ended up paying $46 for the food that we didn’t even touch . The only reason I didn’t create a scene because i was with my family and i realized it was not even worth to stay here . And bonus part all the 4-5 star reviews are fake check the other reviews from their profiles. So don’t waste your time by visiting there, i am sure this restaurant is not running by Indian community. These people are ruining image of indian cuisine and Indians by treating guests like this. Thanks for ruining our long weekend. Want to give...

A poor excuse for a so-called Indian restaurant. Never had Indian food so bland in taste and God knows I had lots of it. Looked promising at first but spices are the name of the game for Indian. Who the hell calls a round flat bread evidently not cooked in a tandoori oven a naan? Service- OMFG POOR! Not only did the waiter poured water in my beer but almost managed to spill the dessert on yours truly. Final verdict: no stars in my opinion but google doesn't have the option and avoid at all costs as a similar set in my experience in Japan would set you back about 15$ factoring in exchange rate for tastier fare and real naan that is not charged extra. The only redeeming factor was palao rice which was a bit above passable and the fact that it is a bring your own booze type of place but beware of the waiters pouring water in it...

Important to note, it is not run by indian. Worst Indian themed restaurant that I have tried anywhere in Canada. We reached at 2.00 pm and the restaurant was locked (even though it was saying open in google and also on the front board) we called the number and then someone opened the door. Who had just woken up from sleep. Food : We ordered Shahi Paneer, aloo gobi, garlic naan, jeera rice and dal tadka. Saahi paneer was spoilt and there was a weird smell. Everything was too oily. Instead of garlic naan they served plain naan. Naan was not at all authentic. (It was like ready to eat naan). There was no taste at all. The portions were very less. Will never go back again.

No idea why so many bad reviews. We took our chances with this restaurant and surprisingly we were not disappointed. On the contrary we enjoyed our meal. The father daughter duo run the show at this restaurant, father / chef was very funny and friendly. Gave us a quick 2 min French language lesson. Daughter was very nice. The garlic naan, daal and chicken were really good. Pakoras were decent and the only complaint I had was the rice was a tad bit stale. But given the good daal Tadka served with it, I am ok to overlook that. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet, when you have limited options but fortunately for us this turned out to be great.
