The food here is good and reasonably priced. The downside of the restaurant is the way they make you feel rushed. They ask you to choose your dessert before you've had your main dish. They're constantly checking to see if you've finished eating, and as soon as you're done they grab your dish and hit you with the dessert and the bill. We were refused service at the door despite there being lots of tables available and arrived well before the closing time. We were quite literally shoo'ed away after being told the restaurant was full (despite there being multiple tables available). A note to mention is that our group were all Asian, not sure if that affected anything but interesting observation to note. If you like being abused, then maybe Chez Mai Lai...
