!! IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK FRENCH DO NOT GO !! My girlfriend and I went here earlier this month and the service was horrible. There were communication difficulties since we only spoke english but we made sure to point to the things we wanted so there wouldn’t be any miscommunications. When they came out with our food they got it wrong but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and maybe we read the menu wrong so we checked it… it was definitely the wrong order. We called over the waiter told them our issue and they seemed upset and took our food and said 10 minutes. (which was weird since our original order took 30 minutes to come out so why would this one take significantly a lot shorter¿) Then we ordered desert my girlfriend noticed some hair in hers which is beyond revolting. When we asked them about it they started to accuse us of putting it there ourselves (She has red hair…). We didn’t want to make more a scene than what already happened so we just shared mine. Then when we went to tip a set amount rather than 15% since the service was horrendous the owner got mad reset the machine and pointed to 20% telling us we caused too much trouble.
Overall, I wouldn’t suggest going here if you’re a...
Read moreI was traveling in Quebec and happened to visit a restaurant. I don’t speak French, but the owner kindly brought me both an English menu and a picture menu, helping me choose the best dishes. Every dish was perfect, and my whole family was delighted. The iced water we were served on that hot day was refreshing and delicious, and we could feel the owner’s thoughtful attention to detail. For dessert, we were served coffee and tea, which made for a wonderful final memory of our trip. The owner was so kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. If I visit Quebec again, I will definitely come back here. I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-visit spot when...
Read moreThis is a good byob Thai restaurant that is a neighborhood favorite. Bathrooms are in the basement, so not for those with limited mobility. Good sizzlers and noodle dishes, 3 levels of spicy. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly (family) staff, this place has been in business for over 20 years, and has a faithful following. I have a supper there every time I visit Quebec city, but I do stay in the area, and it is a bit of a drive to downtown from that suburb. If you're in that area of town it's certainly worth the visit. Easy parking in front or on the...
