My wife and I went there last night. They were very nice and accommodating on arrival. we each ordered wine and soup, to start. I had the Sagamite soup which was good. My wife had the onion soup, which was good, but nothing special. We did have onion soup on two other occasions on this trip, in Old City which were outstanding and this one was just pretty good compared. My wife had shrimp that came in a sauce that was a bit too sweet, for her, but that does not mean anything other than it was a little sweet for her taste, but the shrimp were excellent. The menu had some good selections and after discussing the options with the waiter, I chose the Bison short ribs. The options I discussed were the Bison short ribs, the Elk flank steak and deer and elk medallions.- When my meal came to the table, I had a flank steak delivered. I thought maybe they cut the bison into a steak cut, so I tasted it and it was not bison. It was a good steak, but very mild for bison (at least bison steaks I have had). I mentioned to the gentleman that delivered the dish that I ordered the short ribs and he looked very confused and took the plate back. The waiter then cam back with the plate and said that this is the correct order and that is what I ordered. He was a bit aggressive in his approach and that almost forced me to respond, but I stopped myself, as I did not want to make a scene and be "that guy". My wife and I told him that we were pretty sure I ordered the short ribs and he said that I said that I wanted the bison. I pointed out that the flank steak was elk and he said that they used bison today. Interesting that if I had just said I want bison, the only bison on the menu were the short ribs, the flank steak said it was elk. Not sure if they get charged back for mistake orders/returns. I decided to accept it, as it was pretty good, nut nothing really special in taste. Not the smoked and tender ribs we discussed. Anyway, trying to be as fair as possible on the quality, the soups were good, but nothing special in flavor. The shrimp were very well cooked and very good. The steak was a good piece of meat, but nothing special in flavor or preparation. He tried to give me an extra glass of wine for free, which I appreciated, but declined ( i already had 1 and was driving). He then brought out a slice of maple pie. Again appreciated, but not necessary. I guess very good for maple pie, but not a choice we would...

Ok so we were a big group. 18 people. There was another group of 14 near us and downstair was full. We arrived at 7 and got our first appetizer at 8h30. 2nd appetizers at 9:30. Dish around 10. We were all craving but at 10 we were just tired of waiting. Service was ok. Poor girl was her 2nd shift. We called the manager. It was disrespecfull to wait more than 3h to receive our meal. At this time we were no longer hungry. Half of the table had babysitter at home waiting. 2 of my friend were so fuckin hangry at the end. The poor girl (server) was almost crying because of this situation that was totally out of her control. And we were so so understandable for this situation for her. (We were not hangry against her, we were angry against the cooking team and manager). We learned at 10:30 that the cook wasnt at work and there was only new staff in the kitchen that why it was incredibly long We ask for a credit cuz food was distusting, cold, not even cook. I mean you go to this kind of restaurant. Pay minimun 100-120$/ person. You expect something good and a great experience. And it wasnt there at all. the manager called his parent. At first they gave us 15%. Are u freaking kidding me It was awfull. At this moment one of our friend was so pist. He said you give us something better or im fuckin leaving rn. I said listen you have to choice: we pay for alcohol but not for food… OR you give us 50% off. Finally he said ok 50% for food but alcohol 100% of the price. Thats wasnt what we asked for but it was 11:30 at this time and we just said accepted it. One of my friend didnt even touched her plate. It was freezing. She didnt pay for her plate fortunately. So overall experience was awfull. So sad cuz we heard a lot of good review and it wasnt a great experience for us and for my...

C'est parfait pour découvrir la cuisine autochtone, avec le décor et la musique qui se marient à l'expérience! Nadine nous a offert un excellent service (même le lendemain en cherchant une boutique!). Nous recommandons également le foie gras qui est savoureux.
