My family and I recently visited Quebec City for a short two-day trip, looking forward to indulging in the local cuisine and exploring the surrounding areas. As we had heard great things about an Indian restaurant in the city, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our dining experience turned out to be extremely disappointing and ended up almost ruining our entire trip.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who promptly seated us.
However, our excitement and anticipation were quickly extinguished when we received our food. We ordered a variety of dishes ranging from classic butter chicken to spiced biryani, expecting authentic Indian flavors. To our dismay, every single dish we tried was unbearably spicy to the point of being inedible.
Now, being Indian ourselves, we are accustomed to well-spiced food. However, the excessive heat of the dishes at this restaurant was simply unreasonable. The flavors were completely overshadowed by the burning sensation, leaving us unable to enjoy our meal. Our tongues and stomachs were on fire, and it was a struggle to even take a single bite.
To make matters worse, the waiting time between dishes was excessively long. It seemed like forever before we received each of our orders, leaving us feeling frustrated and disappointed. The lack of efficiency in service only exacerbated our unpleasant dining experience, as it unnecessarily prolonged our stay.
Considering that our time in Quebec City was limited, the disappointment faced at this Indian restaurant had a significant impact on our overall trip. Two days of precious vacation time were essentially wasted, leaving us with an unsatisfied craving for good food and a regretful feeling of lost opportunity.
It is an understatement to say that we were utterly let down by this restaurant. We expected a delicious and memorable dining experience, but instead, we encountered overly spicy and unpalatable food, along with painfully slow service.
To anyone planning a visit to Quebec City and hoping to try out this particular Indian restaurant, I would strongly advise against it. The barrage of fiery flavors, coupled with extensive waiting periods, may very well hinder your enjoyment and turn an otherwise delightful trip into an...

I recently visited this place and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this place falls short in numerous ways. I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid a similar ordeal.
First and foremost, the service was abysmal. Despite arriving hungry and eager to dine, I was forced to wait for an entire hour before a waiter even bothered to take my order. This level of disregard for customers' time is simply unacceptable. The staff appeared indifferent and showed no remorse for the lengthy delay.
Additionally, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was suffocating and unbearably hot. I expected a comfortable dining environment, but instead, I was met with stifling conditions that made it difficult to enjoy my meal. The lack of proper ventilation and cooling systems made the experience even worse.
Furthermore, the staff's rudeness and lack of respect were truly disheartening. Not only did they display apathy towards the customers' needs, but they also exhibited a dismissive and unhelpful attitude. Basic courtesy and professionalism were sorely lacking throughout my visit.
Considering these numerous shortcomings, I strongly believe that this restaurant should not operate in its current state. The poor service, suffocating atmosphere, and disrespectful staff makes it clear that this establishment does not prioritize the customer experience.
I urge potential diners to think twice before choosing this restaurant. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking out a more reputable establishment.
Overall, my experience was highly unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. It is crucial for businesses to understand and address the shortcomings pointed out by their customers to improve their services and provide a better...

When we arrived, we asked whether the restaurant is open, the server didn’t even bother to answer. Instead, he peeked outside, saw there were only two of us, and said, “Oh ho, you’re only two? Come inside quickly.” Once seated, he casually mentioned, “We’re actually closed, but it’s okay, we can serve you.” That should’ve been our first warning.
We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, it was absolutely not tikka in any way. Just plain, bland paneer in some watery gravy. The garlic naan we got had particles of sand or ash, I literally felt like I was chewing on sand. I told the server, and he brought me a butter naan instead and taken the garlic naan back, except there was no butter on it. And still, they charged me for both.
Hoping to at least fill our stomachs, we asked for a rice dish. He suggested vegetable rice, which turned out to be a disaster. The vegetables were raw and uncooked, just thrown into the rice with no taste at all. We took one bite and returned it, but again, it was still on our bill.
When we questioned the charges, the server said, “The kitchen was closed, so we cooked everything quickly.” In other words, they knowingly served uncooked food and then refused to remove anything from the bill, saying “we cannot remove aa it is already printed now. If I remove them, I have to pay for them myself.”
This was beyond frustrating. Honestly, stay hungry or eat from Tim Hortons if you have to, but DO NOT waste your time or money at this place.
P.S, There is nothing royal...
