Cold food and poor service.

I'm not one to leave a lot of bad reviews and maybe it's a one off thing as there are some high reviews on here but wow I was sort of floored.

I ordered through skip and the delivery guy was awesome. The food came quick and their menu on skip is definitely top notch.

I'd ordered a few things and a combo. I didn't take any rice but my girl friend said wow is it just me or is the rice cold. I was like well none of it is really hot but it is barking cold out. She told me no... check the rice and it was dead cold. I don't mean it was cool or had cooled off I mean straight outta the fridge cold. It was in with the combo and tge other items were pretty warm but this rice was like left over last night cold.

So the gf was upset so I had to call. I wasn't expecting free dinner or nothing like that but I mean I just thought you know it's the thing to do so they don't keep sending out cold food. Maybe some one is up to some funny business and making their business look bad. So I called and said hey we just got this food and the rest is fine but the rice is like super cold and she starts arguing with me... saying it was impossible bc he just made that rice. I was like listen I get that maybe that's the case but it's not the rice I got bc it is wicked cold. Like even the white rice was warm but the chicken fried rice was ice cold. She goes to the back and comes back and says no way it's impossible. They offered me free rice but really all I wanted was gee sorry it's Saturday it's cold out we're busy what ever but not to straight up tell me it was impossible for my rice to be cold. It just sort of made me take pause.

They also answered with a different name than listed above. Vietnamese garden. Not sure. Anyways she said next time I ordered I'd could get some free rice but I'm not really looking to order from there again with the poor apathetic...

UPDATE: I removed 1 star for the quality of the oil used for egg rolls. It had been used too often. The rolls tasted heavy, oily and lacking in flavour. I wouldn't order them or any deep fried food in the future. The veg and meat dishes are very good when stir fried, such as chicken or beef mixed vegetables.

Excellent food, very nice people and the chef is very talented...he produces wonderful dishes...chicken in black bean sauce, beef in black bean sauce, won ton soup with meat and vegetables, ginger beef, pho...all excellent! Please try this cute little tucked away restaurant on Devonshire and Rochdale behind the Barley Mill and next door to Spa Cantik...take out only as there are only 2 very...

The Singapore noodles were far too spicy and the spice wasn’t evenly distributed. The noodles were gritty in spots and the spice particles were visible. I love hot food. For instance, five drops of tobacco sauce is a Caesar is my regular way of making one. These noodles were not edible. I have rinsed them and hope that they will taste much better tomorrow.
