iDine Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Regina

My boyfriend and I found this restaurant on Facebook. We looked at the menu and decided it would be a great place to have our next date night. We went there tonight and ordered so many amazing dishes. We started with the vegetable samosas and the kanthari Fish. The samosas had a delicious filling and there was the perfect pastry to filling ratio. The fish was melt in your mouth delicious. I loved that it was so fresh tasting with just a little hint of spice in each bite. We were also given a complimentary bang bang chicken salad. It was delicious and we loved the sweetness of the pineapple in the salad. For our mains we tried the Paneer butter masala, chicken varattiyathu, lamb masala, chicken biryani, Kerala paratha and the garlic naan. Everything was delicious- I honestly couldn’t chose a favourite out of all the things we tried. I really enjoyed the creaminess of the paneer butter masala and felt that the chicken varattiyathu was cooked perfectly- very juicy and full of flavour. The naan and the paratha were both amazing and I would say they are a must have! For dessert we had the Ney payasam with ice cream. It was a great choice as well, I really enjoyed the garnish of coconut on the dish. The service was excellent. We were greeted and seated as soon as we got there. The food came to the table very fresh and we were checked on many times throughout our meal. The staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They also genuinely wanted to know what we thought of the food. One of the chefs came to our table and introduced himself. A hidden gem for authentic South Indian flavours!

We’ve visited IDine a few times now and it has quickly become one of our favorite go-to spots for homestyle South Indian food in Regina. The flavors are bold, authentic, and consistently satisfying.

We absolutely love their Malabar Beef Curry and Kerala Beef Curry — rich, perfectly spiced, and comforting. Paired with their flaky, soft Kerala paratha, it's a complete treat. The Dosas are also excellent — crisp on the outside and soft inside, with tasty fillings and generous chutneys.

Their tea is fantastic too — strong, aromatic, and the perfect finish to the meal.

From what we understand, only the chicken biryani is halal in the chicken options, while all mutton and beef dishes are halal as well. That kind of transparency is appreciated and makes us feel more confident dining here.
