I'm not one to eat out often. I've been disappointed by other places when I have, such as being served a tiny pizza when I could've bought a large pizza elsewhere for the same cost. It makes me question the value of the whole ordeal - you pay more, it takes longer, the taste might not be anything special, and you get less.
The Industrial Park Cafe has made me question my way of thinking, though. I was having lunch with some co-workers and we picked this place since some other people at work said it was good. The "transformer" sandwich sounded pretty decent, so I ordered one (minus the BBQ sauce). The cost was more than I'd normally pay for a sandwich. I was wary at first. If I went to a fast food joint, I could get at least a few burgers for the same cost. How could one overpriced sandwich compare to eating a few burgers and feeling full? The "transformer" was massive. I didn't think it was a big deal at first, but I soon learned that a few greasy burgers were no match for it. It felt quite satisfying to bite through the thick layers of delicious meat - a feeling you certainly won't get with any fast food. It had some incredible flavour; it's been weeks since I ate it, but I suddenly had a memory of that taste and now I really want to eat another one. Best of all, you'll feel content when you're done with it. This sandwich isn't for the faint of heart - some people might not be able to eat the entire thing in one sitting. If you're hungry and want a taste you can appreciate, this place is worth...
Read moreWow, first time being here. The atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant to me. Though it would be a bit more rustic and sticky. Which it is not. Was here with some co-workers.
I had there club house sandwich with fries. So fresh, very yummy, and served at the right temperature. The service was great and fast. Will have to bring my spouse with me the next time we think to we want a club house sandwich.
Edited: Came here as my second visit and remembered to leave room for more fries if I could handle it... Brought my husband and he did say it was the better of the club house sandwiches around town that he has had. The Denver sandwich with cheese was yummy. Still a quick bite place, just a shame it is hard for us to visit often, but probably for the best otherwise I would be two times my weight I...
Read moreStop whatever it is you are doing right now and get to the Industrial Park Cafe. It's not an over statement to say you can't go wrong here. The customer service is fantastic, equally matching the delicious, no- exquisite food they serve. Have you ever fallen in love with soup? Has your lunch ever bought tears to your eyes? If not you need to go here. I had the 'This Little Piggy' with smoked pulled pork on a pillowly-light toasted focaccia bread with maple whiskey barbecue sauce. It was amazing!!! Did I mention they have bottomless hand cut french fries? It was ridiculous. I am in love with this place!! Go there, soon. Open for...
