Randolph Pub Ludique Repentigny — Restaurant in Repentigny

Me and my girlfriend went to enjoy our 3 years together. We played games and ordered a lot of food (80$ per person). The food was good and the games were fun however the service was a bit slow. It didn't took too long to order and get the food, but what took a long time was to get the attention of our waiter. We had to wait 30 minutes at one point to order for a second time (we stayed for a total of 7 hours). Then we were ready for the check. We waited 30 min after we mentioned to our waiter that we were ready to pay just to get the check and when we received it it took another 15 min for him to get the machine to pay (because he didn't took it with him the first time). However he was a nice and respectful waiter, just slow from time to time. Also, this building is clearly an old church that has been repurposed because the banquet are old church seat (the wooden ones) and the regular chair where either made of wood or metal. In the end the seats were not adapted to be use for longs periods of time (in a restaurant were you can play board games you should expect people to be here for a couple hours). The tables are also small. Its fine when you eat and drink like you would normally, but add a game and you either have to invade a second table and hope it stays free until you're done, or you have to figure a way to hold your plate while playing because putting your food on top of the game isn't the best idea.

C'était la première fois que nous allions au Randolph à Repentigny. Nous étions déjà allés à celui de Laval et nous avions adoré notre expérience. Or, ce ne fut pas le cas ce soir pour le nouvel établissement. Les animateurs étaient pratiquement toujours au 2e étage alors les gens aux rez-de-chaussé n'avaient pratiquement pas de service des animateurs. Nous avons attendu 20 minutes avant que quelqu'un vienne nous voir à notre table après notre arrivée. Les animateurs nous proposaient des petits jeux simples et venaient rarement nous voir lorsque nous n'avions plus rien à faire, même s'ils passaient devant notre table souvent. Ou lorsqu'on leur demandait un jeu, ils nous répondaient qu'ils allaient voir, mais ne revenaient jamais! Quand nous avons adressé le problème au gérant, il nous a répondu qu'il manquait un animateur. Toutefois, il ne participait pas à régler le problème. Il restait accoudé au bar à jaser avec le personnel. Nous sommes partis beaucoup plus tôt que prévu pour aller jouer à des jeux à la maison. Vraiment très déçue. Horrible expérience. J’ai réservé pour 8 personnes. Une fois arrivée, l’homme à l’entrée nous demande nos pièces d’identité. Une personne sur le groupe n’avait pas de pièce d’identité physique mais avait sa carte étudiante sur son cellulaire (elle a 25 ans) . L’homme nous a refusé l’entrée disant qu’il n’acceptait pas de carte d’identité sur le téléphone. Il exigeait une pièce d’identité même aux personnes qui n’allait pas consommer d’alcool. D’ailleurs dans mon courriel de confirmation de réservation ce n’était aucunement inscrit d’amener ses pièces d’identité. Puisqu’on se faisait refuser l’entrée, nous avons demandé si nous pouvions regarder la section des jeux à vendre pour en acheter un. Il nous a répondu d’un ton bête que nous ne pouvions pas aller voir les jeux , que nous devions être accompagnés et qu’en se moment il n’avait pas le temps de nous accompagner.
