Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

We have been to this pizza place a few times and the service has been good. I guess it is because nothing had gone wrong for them so you don't realize how rude they could be.

We recently ordered 2 pizzas, veggie with red pepper flakes and meat without. When we took it home, we realized that they put the red pepper flakes onto the wrong pizza - the meat one. I called the store and explained the situation. The guy said it is because we are sensitive to the flakes and should order the flakes on the side in the future. I explained one more time that the veggie one doesn't have the pepper and the meat one has but it should be the other way around. He said I don't understand him and explained that if he uses the knife to cut the spicy pizza then cut the meat one, then the meat one might be spicy too, then he just said okay I will give you $5 credit for next time and hung me up. Such a rude attitude and weird logic! No apologies whatsoever, insisted that he put the pepper on the right pizza, used excuses to tell me it's my problem, then hung the phone up with $5 credit.

This is the most terrible customer service I have ever seen in any pizza place and I don't recommend anyone going to this place.

I like this location. It's new and it seems like the owner is working hard to make it a success. I've already been here over five times. On a few occasions they have been short-staffed, which causes some problems.

3 different customers are waiting for their finished, boxed pizzas because the person handling the cash register has his hands preparing dough for a different order. I don't blame the workers for this.

I haven't seen any "Now Hiring" signage anywhere, despite all of the newly printed pizza deal signage at the store. This indicates to me that the owner is trying to keep profit margins tight by minimizing staff on site.

I understand that the world has changed post-pandemic and that the economy is making things difficult. However, I've also seen exhausted, young Indian men and women suffering from burn out at a few different Dominos locations as they try to literally do everything in the store.

Hopefully everyone is happy and feels well compensated...

This is not the first time this Domino’s store has messed up my order, but it will definitely be the last. I usually don’t write reviews, but this keeps happening, so I feel I have to speak up. I specifically asked for a Hawaiian pizza with no cheese due to lactose intolerance, and once again, they made it with cheese.This was a huge inconvenience, as we had to cook separate food just to accommodate the dietary needs of my group.
