We’re getting our Lexus serviced and needed to eat nearby, as there was no curtesy car available from OpenRoad Lexus. Walked over here and ordered the green tea and sushi sandwich combo with 2 extra sushi sandwiches. The sushi sandwiches is like an extra large sushi roll, about 3X the size of a regular sushi roll. Interesting and not too bad for the price. Total was $49.35 for the items we ordered. What surprised me was that instead of our order number being called and us having to get our order, the staff brought the tea and food over to us. That’s a very surprising service, but am not sure if that is the norm. Still, excellent service!!! The eating area being inside the Toyota dealership is a bit unusual but convenient for customers, just need to get used to the car shopping customers walking around and talking instead of a...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. It wasn’t even busy, they said 20 mins wait and it took a full hour. My friend and I were both waiting patiently. At the 1 hour mark, we asked if we could get our drinks first, but the server was very rude and started slamming our orders on the table. Food wasn’t even hot when we got it, and it could have easily been assembled in less than 5 mins.
Total waste of $25 per person. Called and left a message for the manager to call me back, but to this day he hasn’t bothered to try to rectify this.
Should also note, watched the waitress use her cell phone to text while on her shift.
If you want terrible service and bad food, this place is for you! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere better, even the original Tsujuri at Garden City. If I could give this place 0...
Read moreWhat a cute Japanese cafe. Situated right in the middle of a Toyota dealership. Strange? Not really. The idea really works! The spacious surrounding with vaulted ceilings makes for good dining. At lunch time (11am) bento boxes are available as counter service. The unagi (eel) on rice is my favourite. For Vancouver the unagi is quite good. Sauced just nice. It also comes with a premium tea (3 choices) hot/cold and a cheesecake. Reminiscent for modern Japanese cafes? Try Tsujiri in the Toyota dealership. I will...
