Chez 4’s — Restaurant in Rigaud

Came here on October, 2023. We came here on a Sunday at around 10:45AM.

The service that was very slow. The owner or person should add more waiter and probably more cooks or they should change their management. It should be less than an hour. We stayed there until 12:30 including waiting to be seated.

Prices here are good and reasonable so that’s a plus but they should change the system.

That’s why I probably don’t want to come back .

No hate or disrespect to the personnel and staff here but like I said if the service is not good then there is not point of a restaurant.

Because to me the service is more important. Even if the food is not good. Being served and mangling a restaurant is more important than the food.

First Review (4/5 stars). Chez 4's is a hidden breakfast place in Rigaud. We came here around September 2021.

It is a good breakfast place small and clean with good breakfast options that caters to what you like.

The prices here are reasonable for me and was good enough for me.

Their service is not the best and needs improvements, like maybe an extra server or a smaller eatery if they want since it was slow. We waited almost 45-60 minutes MAX for our meals that day and we were surprised for that. We did not mind but they should let us know.

Also I ordered the blueberry smoothie and the server forgot about it and still charged me but we told her to cancel and she gladly did.

So, if you don't mind the slow service and drive then it is good because their breakfast was delicious and it is a locally owned breakfast place unlike some spots.

Their English is somewhat okay and needs better communication but totally understandable.

Too busy and there was not enough staff when we went, errors kept adding up that made us feel like this place was stingy over a dollar. I specifically asked for a side of creton with extra bacon, but was charged for extra creton instead and a side of bacon which who knows why the order makes one more expensive. Had half of my toasts burnt to a crisp, I had asked for sunny side up eggs but got easy over, potatoes definitely not how we like them, potentially not fresh. However, the worst was seeing another table who arrived and seated after us get their very similar order before us. Otherwise a non assuming place, the terrace looked nice and the food wasn't bad. Didn't feel like there was any room for feedback either as everyone was running around. Looks quaint...

Pros: A) A nice breakfast and lunch restaurant. B) Good location because it’s near Arbraska the church and the main area of Rigaud. C) Big portions and for the price it was worth it. D) Washroom was cleaned and well maintained. E) It has a cozy area and it feels nice inside they have coffee and drinks and they have newspapers in the front to read. F) Depending on the waiter they speak English

Cons: A) My potatoes were somewhat burnt. B) On weekends they are short on staff at times depending on the time and day. C) Street parking but sometimes it’s busy.

Conclusion: We came here many times about 4x and counting and even though the potatoes were burnt. 🥵 It’s still good and I would recommend.
