Jake's Burger — Restaurant in Rosthern No. 403

So the food here is amazing and I want to prefer that before I say anything I don't know how the service was cuz I was at Subway but my man ordered from here and their burgers and poutine are the best so we got in the car we were heading home for the holidays and I was trying to get my man's food all sorted and so he's eating his Burger which is really greasy and I was like oh it's really greasy it's whatever you know it's a burger but I went to go reach for the poutine and like there was gravy all over my knee from where it was sitting in the gravy literally they put so much in there that it was overflowing into the bag and like the bottom of the box was like flimsy cardboard and all the cheese was just on the one side felt like they could have sprinkled it kind of parts in there and maybe not put as much gravy but all I know it was...

I have been a long time supporter of Jake’s burger and frequent there Hague location quit regularly. However this past year it has gone extremely down hill. The strip mall it is in is disgustingly filthy so instant turn off. The food quality has also dropped. I believe there under newish ownership and I don’t believe people are aware. I stopped there this evening and was told there closed. I replied your hours are till 8 and was told they take last order at 7:50. I replied it’s 7:50 right now. I was greeted with a blank stare. Burger looked amazing, toppings were fine. They advertise cheddar cheese, nope put on tasteless marble cheese yuck. Should of tried Swiss cheese. Garlic mayo couldn't taste it. Mushrooms and fried onions good. Fries were awesome and onion rings oily but good.

Problem was the burgers themselves were overcooked and overly firm and tasteless. Was expecting a tender flavorful beef pattie not at all 2 smaller pucks. Bun was toasted and hard, would of liked a soft fresh bun.
