I frequent the cafe quite a bit usually 2-3 times a week. This morning when I went in I was informed that I was not allowed to have a "tablet" sitting at a table, but was welcome to sit at the bar stools. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and I hobbled in there pretty noticeably uncomfortable and sitting on barstools in my current state of pregnancy isn't the most comfortable. I let her know that it's my kindle and I'll be reading, but still declined me a table to sit at. I simply wanted to have a quiet morning to sip my drink and eat some breakfast while I read (which I've done lots of times on my visits). I understand the rule of not wanting people in there setting up their home office for the day, but again I was just wanting to read while I ate and sipped my drink and then leave like I always do. However, the latte I ordered was not good - the milk was not steamed properly and the espresso was weak and burnt. I would highly recommend hiring a professional barista who knows coffee, as if this cafe could serve good coffee, it would put the competition out of business. She said “obviously you have to wait outside” not can you please wait outside we are a bit busy/full. Obviously my family is not welcome so obviously we will not go back. Thank you for spoiling our special day and our first visit there!
