Our first time heading out to Jonesy's restaurant. Be sure to call ahead if you want the dining room. We called day of and could only get lounge at 430pm. Upon arrival we were primarily greeted and taken to our table. The waitress arrived shortly there after. We quickly decided and ordered. Food arrived after about 30 minutes. We ordered the onion bloom to start it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone loves it. Next our meals arrived. Two of us had burgers, another three beef dip and another the steak sandwich. Everyone throughout enjoyed their meals with the exception of the steak sandwich which was smaller than a steak medallion. It was said to be ok but not something they would order again. Everyone loves the French fries they were perfect and tasted homemade. We would have left a five-star had it not been for the server not refilling our waters and the disappointing steak sandwich. I encourage you to check it out. I know we will be back and I hope next time to make it a 5 star review.

Husband and I wanted to try a new, local restaurant and found Jonesy's! First attraction while looking on line was the onion bloom! Although it was a 40 min drive, it was well worth. Arrived around 5pm on a Friday and it was already very busy. (A line up outside as we were leaving.) Christa/Krista was our server and was not disappointed! Super friendly, advised on drinks and checked in on us. Food was generous in portions and very good! We both had the special (steak, roasted mashed potatoes) but I had broccoli and he had the beans. The Whiskey steak sauce is to DIE for!!! So tasty and wish they sold it not just on Father's Day and Christmas. Was told the local store might sell it if it's in. Another bonus was that the manager came to our table to check in on us too. She did this to every table. Amazing customer service! Only downfall, their washrooms are not very accessible...clean....but not very accessible. We would definitely go back to try other food on the menu.

Went to Jonesy's in Birds Hill this evening. Service started out fine, the server kept our drinks topped up. We noticed the two other tables that came in after us were served their food first. One of the tables came in 5 minutes after we ordered our food! When I asked the server she said it was because I ordered a steak and an appetizer, which I would have believed until our food arrived. My steak came first and everything on the plate was cold! Steak included! I sent my plate back, then the other plates arrived. All the food was cold including the gravy on our fries. All four plates were sent back. I can tell our food was sitting for a while, not sure why. Another server came and said their heat lamps were unplugged. But, that doesn't explain why the other two tables were served first. I wanted to leave at this point, but the kids were very hungry, so we stayed. When the food came back they were warm and the food was ok. Gravy tasted like the powdered gravy from Costco. By time we were eating, the table that came in after us was on dessert! We were not offered anything in terms of a refund or reduced bill, so I did not leave a tip. I usually tip well, but this experience shook us. We were the only Indigenous people in the restaurant and felt a little uncomfortable by the stares we received from other customers. After spending $100 for dinner I expected better. I do not think we...

We had a delicious meal and were very well attended to. It was Rib night and we both had the "Rib Special", nicely prepared to fall-off-the-bone tenderness. This was our wedding anniversary and we thought we would treat ourselves and use a gift card we had been sitting on, I'd never been there before. We were honoured with a complimentary dessert, ultimately.

This evening didn't start quite so pleasantly and the staff made efforts to salvage it for us, which we were very appreciative of. You see, they were fairly busy and they seated us in the lounge for our dinner. We found it loud but it was far worse than that because we were sat adjacent to a trio of young working adults. They had obviously been drinking a lot and all dressed similarly, being extremely loud and swearing like sailors. (Their work uniform and I wouldn't be happy being their employer, was a white polo shirt with a very simple capital "GI" for a logo.) Anyway, on request, our hosts moved us to another table in a very full restaurant and continued to be accommodating. This was a nice outcome because we were prepared to leave and abandon the whole evening, instead we enjoyed it. I would recommend Jonesy's Restaurant for the food and...

I would strongly recommend Jonesy's! We had heard good things about this place, but we had no idea how good it is! What a great establishment! As soon as you walk in the door, you are entering a comforting, heartwarming environment! I do reccomend calling ahead to make a reservation on peak times (dinner on weekends). It is very obvious that the business is a great place when you find out that they are full with reservations and the lounge is filled as well! That being said, Melissa (sp?) Was extremely helpful in making us feel welcomed and shifting around some tables in order to accommodate us. It was very obviously thier busy time, the staff were very busy trying to seat people. It might have been nice that they acknowledged us when we entered, even though they were busy. It was obvious they were busy, but just a quick "I'll be tight with you" would be great! Melissa, came on the scene and did exactly that! She immediately made us feel like the most valued people there! The atmosphere was very welcoming. The food was superb, but I have to hand it to Melissa, the service...
