My mom and I attended a nearby event on November 6, 2021. We stopped at Timberline (first time) with the intention of having a coffee, however, after viewing the menu and noting the variety and great prices, we decided to eat in! The food was terrific, however, this is not the main reason for this review: While enjoying our visit, I noticed that our server, the LONE server LEXI, was not only serving (the restaurant was 3/4 to almost full halfway through our visit) but LEXI was also multi tasking with everything else: Checking everyone's Vacc card's and ID upon entry; Taking orders in a professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner; Serving said orders, while 'checking in' on tables for coffee refills or other requests; Attending to the drive-up window (taking orders & delivering same); Answering phone for pick up orders The only other person present was the cook, who was also working their butt off as it was VERY busy! I was so impressed by LEXI and told her so. I verified that she was the only one working aside from the cook. LEXI did not loose her patience, get flustered and further more, when she brought someone the wrong drink, she immediately apologized - WITHOUT any excuses and remedied her mistake. The person obviously acknowledged this and insisted he would have BOTH drinks after all! I only had a 200km journey to Winnipeg so left Kenora late. What I had forgotten was the change of one hour in time at the Manitoba border...

I spotted this place from the (TCH) and it immediately attracted my attention. There were many cars, trucks, etc parked outside which is always a good sign....👍

Inside was clean, modestly decorated and fairly busy catering for an eclectic mix of local regulars, travellers, families, et al.... 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦 - 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. Immediately I sat down I was given the Menu & offered Coffee in a very friendly fashion...😃

Because of the hour gained it was 'Breakfast' - not 'Brunch' - so plumped for the 'Timberline' variety. I was tempted by the 6oz Steak BUT stuck with the sausages.

I noticed that, even in mid-morning, a lot of tables were being served 'Pizza' - obviously a 'House Speciality' - this was confirmed by the Menu...🍕 They did look good and along with the mingled aromas, coming from the Kitchen, gave the place a homely feel.

My breakfast arrived quickly, politely served, coffee refilled and enjoyed by me immensely - and all for less than $10....a "happy bunny"....😋😋😋

We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, the BBQ Chicken Wrap, and the Clubhouse Sandwich, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. You can tell it is made with care and quality ingredients. The Philly Cheesesteak was loaded with tender beef and melted cheese. The BBQ Chicken Wrap had a great smoky flavor with a crisp veggie crunch. The Clubhouse Sandwich was stacked and satisfying.

Service was friendly and quick. The staff made us feel welcome right away. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable, casual dining atmosphere. It is a great place for lunch with friends or a relaxed bite to eat.
