Cora — Restaurant in Saguenay

been to many Cora's all over and I've got to say this is the only one I did not enjoy. at first the waiter who greeted us and sat us was nice and friendly but after she brought us to our table I guess her shift was done and 2 or 3 other waiters dealt with us. I don't know if it was because we were english, or if they just didn't care about good service. now, the place was not busy at all, maybe 3 or 4 other tables had customers so business wasn't an excuse. we weren't offered a chair for our 1 year old, had to go look for one after a wait to see if they'd even offer. the fruit, usually good and well presented at Cora's, was the worst I've ever seen in quality and presentation. we had to ask for multiple things they forgot to bring to our table, they never came back and asked if everything was ok, we had to call them over each time for toast (they burnt it, but we just scraped off the black cause we didn't want to bug them anymore), syrup for the pancakes, jams, smoothie, water, straws so the kids could drink the water and we had to take cutlery from another table. I still tipped 18% even though it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.. they deserved nothing, but if the bad service was a because we were english and they didn't care about us for that reason, i wanted to show that we were decent people even though they weren't...

Really recommend this restaurant, the waitress is so nice to show us the menu in English, and kindly show me the way how to go to Metro supermarket. The food is really delicious and price is quite fair. It's a surprise for us to have such good food in my trip to Quebec City.Quaint little restaurant with delicious menu. J'ai commandé la cassolette 10 étages. Selon le menu c'est ça.

Cassolette 10 étages Bacon, jambon, saucisses, saucisses fumées, Bologne, épinards, échalotes, tomates, oignons, poivrons rouges et verts et champignons, le tout gratiné avec du cheddar.

Ma version que j'ai eu. 1/16e d'une tranche de bacon, 1 carré de 1cm par 1cm coupé en 4 de jambon, 1 tranche de 5mm de saucisse normal et de saucisse fumé, bologne (pas sur que c'était présent), épinard (pas sur que c'était présent), échalotes (pas tant ),tomates (très peu). Poivrons rouges et verts, oigons ( ça y'en avait beaucoup trop ). Fromage ( très peu ). Je ne voulais pas de champignons.

Aucune saveur. Patate pas cuite.

Les deux personnes auquel j'ai mentionné comment j'ai trouvé ça avait l'air à s'en foutait. ( On va passer le message ). Aucun ; ah on est vraiment désolé.

Probabilité que j'y retourne : 0

Pour le même prix dans un rayon de 2 km, on trouve beaucoup mieux et le double...
