L'Oeufrier St-Eustache — Restaurant in Saint-Eustache

3.5 stars is what I would give this restaurant.

We waited a long time for a table. Then we waited even longer to get service. And then we waited even longer for the food. Breakfast took us over two hours...

The hostess wasn't very pleasant, maybe due to us not speaking french... After a long wait, she just walked us to the table and she didn't give us the smoothies menu. When we asked, she said she was not the waitress, that we had to wait for the waitress, but no mention of who that was...

Our waitress eventually came over and was very pleasant and would give her 4 stars. We ordered and started to wait again. She did try to keep us updated but seemed overwhelmed by the volume of people...

Hubby ordered a coffee, and I ordered a tea (never got). Hubby finally got up and got the smoothies menu himself. I ordered a smoothie and got it before any food came out.

When we finally got our food, it was missing an item. Which our waitress quickly rectified. I will say the food was ok. It was just room temp...

Hubby got their breakfast poutine. Which was good.

I got Je me souviens - 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, baked beans, cretons, crepe, and maple syrup. It was ok, but room temp. The crepe was on the dry side, so it ended up on the crispy side, which was a little weird. The creton was ok...

We had a better breakfast at Allo Mon Coco...

Never again! Ok. So the food is good but the service is horrible. Will never go there again.Not the fault of the staff but management. Wanted to substitute something in the order but had to pay extra for bacon because "their" bacon is special. Received only half our toasts. Got up to ask if an error and was told "people waste their toast so management decided to only give half and give the rest if you ask". But let's be clear I was not told this. Also has to ask for my beans and creton because they were missing. "Oh. He did not add the creton? I will have them brought but the beans we don't have anymore". I was not told this when I ordered. Back at my seat we get creton and ask for extra bacon since missing beans, no you have to pay, but can get bologna instead... I refused and ask to speak to the manager. She comes back minutes later and tells me there will be a credit on my bill. Translation, the manager could not be bothered to come and talk to me and wanted to shut me up with a credit. Let's be clear. I paid for 2 toasts but got 1 because other people waste. But I still pay for 2 toasts. I had to ask for 2 things that were included in our plates and could not be given them because they were out. And the manager is above going to speak to a...

I’ve been here once before in the past, and now I remember why I never went back.. it seems that if you speak English or ask for English menus, they totally write you off. We were seated and waiting for a good 10 mins before the waitress showed up.

She finally came by when 2 others were seated next to us and proceeded to offer them coffee and water and brought it right away. We however were still left waiting for our coffee and water (the others were served). A few minutes later she came to take their orders and brought our coffee and then their breakfast came and we still hadn’t ordered.

Overall this place is really not good. Even the atmosphere is boring, barely hear any music, you can almost hear people’s chewing.

We weren’t even offered the smoothies menu, I guess they get thrown off when you ask for English menus. Also, the English menus are not updated, we asked for something which said it came with both sausage and bacon but she said it was only 1. When we showed her she said oh, it’s because you have an English menu, those are outdated .. nice..

Anyway, never going back. Food is also...
