Déjeuner L`Eggspress — Restaurant in Saint-Jérôme

Im not sure how to start off this review, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable, the food is excellent, the resto is clean. But if you ask to speak to the manager, GOOD LUCK. I think they hide in the back or maybe they just aren't there. We bought a gift certificate for 100$, because my parents eat there once a week. When they went to pay, they were told they needed to use it entirely...whaaaat? Since when?? The waitress kindly told us that they always have issues with this and that only the manager deals with the certificates.

To the owner of this restaurant: when you write out gift certificates, make them for smaller amounts, advise your clients that they need tobe redeemed in their entirety, and when a customer asks to see or speak to you, take the time...

We know the chain Eggspress so we choose to stop here for breakfast, the place was full so we weren't expecting anything other than that usual. I order the Sandwich Deluxe - bacon and cheese - but in here was far from the usual. My husband took crepes and they tasted like rubber. I feel they try to save money by downgrading their products. The service was fine, the waitress was kind even if she didn't pay so much attention to us, it's understandable with how crowed it was. I love this place, we can have special lunches and plates filled. We pay for a few things !! But you have to arrive very early, before 9:15 am ..In my opinion the best lunch in the Laurentians all is good hot and well served. When entering a girl you place and always with a smile.And the service is impeccable no error in the order and if this happens to you it will do everything to remedy.Les portions are generous and the food is fresh especially fruits .
