Where to even begin with such an abysmal display of incompetence masquerading as service? The evening began with our beverages being carelessly forgotten, and the waiter, in an astonishing feat of negligence, vanished into thin air, making himself scarce for the entire night. The food itself was an affront to the very notion of cuisine—utterly repugnant. By the time the elusive waiter finally graced us with his presence to inquire about the meal, one of us had already consumed enough of the revolting dish to spend the rest of the evening ill, while the other sat staring at a plate of desiccated slop, waiting in vain for anyone to care.

When we finally confronted the waiter, his dismissive response was the cherry on top of this disaster. He had the audacity to claim that others had enjoyed the food—though, of course, the "others" in question were the residents of the nearby senior care center, whose dulled senses could hardly distinguish good from bad, let alone detect the foulness that was served. The food tasted good, the waiter was friendly and it wasn't long for our food. However, the experience was ruined for me by the waiter going around the dining room and refilling peoples waters improperly. Everyone had drank from their cups and therefore had some residue from their lips on their cup, which is normal. What is disturbing is when the carafe is carelessly rested onto the lip residue of each and everyone's cup, thereby sharing. I don't randomly kiss people , I don't want their spit transferring to my cup. Seriously, it shows an ignorance of communicable diseases, which is scary that a waiter would be so reckless, especially post Pandemic. It turned my stomach. I'll be brutally honest, this is a boomer restaurant. It serves basic "meat with rice and potatoes". But honestly, it does it well and is great to have family gatherings with older family members. It's comforting and regular food that has something for everyone. Lunch options have good prices and you can bring your own wine.
