My family (of 3 adults) came to this location by our hotel on Wednesday July 16th. It was the absolute worse food and service I have had at any of the Boston Pizza's. I order gluten free pasta less an item from the dish. The meal came out and the pasta was still crunchy (not cooked) and the item I requested to be deleted from the dish was there. I sent it back and said also the pasta was not cooked. When it appeared for the second time around pasta was a little better but not much I did not want to send it back again. The other two dishes also came out were also incorrect. We waited about 45 minutes for our Nacho's but we could tell on the waitress face she had forgotten them because she said she would check and they were all of a sudden ready for the table. The other dish was put together as if a child had made it. The waitress said due to all the difficulties we had she would give us a discount. I thought yes that would be nice, but when the bill came there was no bill just the amount owing. I asked about print out bill and she said they dont have it due to a computer brake, no discount she said her manager said no. I then asked about the 10% discount that the hotel card gave us and again I was told no. So for $100 we got served 2 dishes that couldn't be eaten and the other so sloppy and so mushed that it was not a...
Read moreIf you want to taste what sadness tastes like try the gluten free pasta. I ordered the GF with mushrooms, onions and baked cheese. Now, don't get me wrong, it's GF so I am not expecting any miracles, but at least try to make a product that resembles what a non GF entre would be. When it arrived it was visibly dry, like what a bowl of pasta left in the refrigerator for 3 days uncovered would look like. It hardly had any sauce, the cheese was minimal and there would be the equivalent to one small mushroom chopped up. The mushroom was still firm as it was hardly cooked. When I voiced my concerns the server asked if I would like more sauce for the pasta. Yep. That would be great. It would at least make it a little less like eating dry pasta from the box. After waiting at least 10 minutes I asked another server to speak with the manager. Instead the our server came over and apologized for forgetting the sauce. She returned a few minutes later with some additional sauce. This meal and the service was beyond disappointing. On the bright side I can now say that I know what $25 worth of sadness...
Read moreGreat food, good service at the bar. My first time in a Boston Pizza, since normally while traveling I try to seek out small local establishments over chains. This was right next to my hotel, so I gave it a shot, and was glad I did. I did not expect so much on the menu besides pizza. On the bartender's recommendation I got the Rustic Italian pizza (small was bigger than I expected and perfect for me by myself). Pizza couldn't have been better, and went well with a 32 oz beer on tap (not limited to your standard pint and 22 oz tall boy). Bar had for large televisions on different games while I was there; they turned them all to one hockey game right before I left (seems like overkill to occupy all four on one game, but Canada loves their hockey!). I had to wait a little as there wasn't always someone immediately attending the bar, (I think the bartender may have been helping out the wait staff, tho they didn't seem terribly busy for the size of the place). Overall a very good dining experience; maybe next time I'll try the steak or pasta or...
