La plank — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

We visited the restaurant yesterday and we’re very pleased with the burgers and wings we got, we were so pleased that we got ourselves 3 pitchers so we could spend a little more time in this nice ambiance. What made our night is the impeccable service we received there, our waitress was absolutely amazing. If ever you get Caro at your table, rest assured, your night will be great. She passed by the table very frequently and made sure our glasses were topped up, she also always made sure we weren’t missing anything regarding food drinks and smiles. Amazing spot to chill and eat with friends. The local is really small (approximately 30-40 people would fit) so if you want to make sure to not wait for a long time, or to even have a table, I would suggest to book in advance.

Celebrated my friends 19th birthday and it really fit the vibe. The desert for the birthday boy looked amazingggg (deep fried oreos). I will for sure come again. We took 2 kids meals (mac and cheese and a mini Burger with fries, they were really big portions for a kids size). It's a small place so not a place for large groups unless you make a reservation. The beer selection on tap is not extensive with only 2-3 kinds of my memories serves me. I tried one of their very interesting sounding poutines. The one with blue cheese and duck confit was good. My only negative comment would be that it took 15-20 minutes to get a pitcher of beer for example. I had to remind her at some point so she may have forgotten.
