Uptown Pub Down Under — Restaurant in Saint John

I had one of the worst experiences at your Uptown Pub Down Under - at about 2:30 pm today, I went into your pub to have a meal. Upon entering it was busy, but I went around the corner and there was a table for 2 and a table for 4 (both were not cleaned, and nobody sitting at them), so I asked the waitress that was that was serving 2 customers at the window if anyone was sitting there, she said "no" and that she would be there to clear the table in a few minutes. I sat there an waited, the waitress came by me 2 times while I was sitting there (going back to check on other customers at window) and didn't even acknowledge me. After sitting there for just over 15 minutes, 3 people came in and they sat at the table of 4 beside me, the same waitress came over and took the dishes off the table, and gave them menus, she then looked at me and said "are you still waiting"....I replied "yes". I felt like me being there as a single person my business was not wanted and the group of 3 was more important. I asked to get a card/name for manager, a few minutes later a lady came over to talk with me and I asked if she was manager, she said that Uptown Pub Down Under doesn't have a manager and that I would have to go on the facebook page so the owners would see it. She also went on to say that the girl was new and it was busy. I acknowledged that it was busy, but she the same waitress walks by twice, then takes a table of 3 and clears their table and give them menus before me is not fair and makes it seem like business is not important. I have never experienced such a feeling in all my years of going to any restaurant in my life. The lady did ask if I wanted to be served at that point, I told her "no" and asked how she would feel if that happened to her to which she didn't reply, and at that point...

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. My first experience at the uptown location tonight was not one bit good. Ordered take-out, takes 30 mins to make two sandwiches and two poutines. Get home after waiting a half hour , so it's been about 45 mins at this point, open up the bag , and no poutines. Tried to call the restaurant 4 times before going back , absolutely NO ANSWER. So I go back with my food which is cold now. I ask for a refund as my appetite is lost. I tell the women I want my money back, 15 mins later the manager comes back and tries to give me two cold poutines (they were made originally, just not given to me, so an hour after I ordered) and tries to gives me half my money back. Absolutely not. I argued with him to get a full refund as I was not eating this cold & soggy food. He finally gave me a full refund. It took me a half hour just to get the money back from the second I stepped foot into the restaurant.

I went to the restaurant today may 6 at around 11:00am(as I normally do).I waited quite some time for the server( a blonde lady) to even give me a Menu, but she wouldn't, so I went with her and asked her if she could at least give me a menu, but her response was to tell me "there were people before me, and I have to wait(with a very disgusted and unfriendly face and attitude)", then I told the other server the situation, and my discomfort with the present situation and her response was to basically call me a liar and say "You do whatever you wanna do man in a sarcastic and unfriendly way, and almost pushed me to take my food out". Very uncomfortable and aggravating situation to say...
