I’ve been a loyal and recurring customer at Sushi Shop since the opening of their first Atwater location, but this shop makes me wondering what kept me a client for so long. I’ve heard to avoid this restaurant on Chemin d’Oka many times but I still wanted to give them a try... And I’ve never been so disappointed in a service.
I ordered a special meal for the first Father’s Day I celebrated with my husband because he loves sushis. This order has been placed at 6PM and at 8PM I got a message saying that the order was cancelled because they had no delivery service available anymore. We waited for 2 hours for our dinner to realize that we were not going to eat anymore. In search for a solution, I called them to discuss the options and on top of being rude, they told me that I had to come directly to the restaurant to pick up my order and that my initial discount was not applicable anymore because they had too many orders. I sincerely understand that this was a busy day for them and that’s why I was flexible but seing that this is their standards in term of customer service is making me considering to go somewhere else for sushis.

Read moreUtterly disgusted at the customer service, or should I say entirely a lack thereof. We ordered a platter of 100 sushi pieces that was supposed to be delivered within the hour.
When we called to OFFER to come pick up the order instead of having it delivered, they said they can’t change the order status for some reason. So we had to continually wait for the order for 2 hours with the most rude and disrespectful employee on the other side.
What was supposed to be a simple 100$+ order, turned into a 2+ hour wait and a horrible exchange with the restaurant. We will never order...

Placed an order on-line. And when it was time to pick up the order they called me up to tell me that the sushi roll machine was broken. I showed up at the restaurant and they lady(owner or manager) told me the same thing and NO REFUND will be given because the order was made on-line. August order #39xx. I argued and complained and nothing was done.
