One of the finest destinations in St. Sauveur right next to the church, with service at the tables inside, and a nice terrace overlooking the heart of the village. The smell is always good, they roast the coffee right there. You can buy coffee beans or ground coffee, as well as wonderfully aromatic teas. The meals are casual yet aesthetically served, the coffee is great, and the cakes….well, decadence galore, and that apple cake which is more like an apple mountain! There are exotic sandwiches, salads, soup, specialty coffees, chocolate drinks, teas and tisanes served in individual pots with strainers. Whatever your taste, they have something that will entice you. No supermarket-square-gummy-bread in this place! The bread is real and crusty! There is a special atmosphere here, people of all ages and walks of life come in. You just know that the people who come here once will be back again. It is a place to meet someone or simply sit watch the world pass by, and listen to what’s on in the park. At noon the Carillon of the Church makes a pleasant addition to the hub of the Main Street. I recently stopped at the café for a light lunch of ½ an egg-sandwich served with salad, and a cup of their good coffee ($7.25). You can just take a little break with a cup-a-coffee, and a muffin warmed up and served with butter, and read the paper. It is my favourite meeting place since it opened about twenty five years...
Read moreBeautiful location, robust menu sure to please any coffee lover, delicious food, and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. These are passionate roasters who have curated an excellent range to enjoy. I bought their "la crema" espresso to take home, and was so pleased with the quality, taste, and crema that I ordered 3 more types through their website. I live on the other side of Canada, so their free shipping promo on Canadian orders over $50 was perfect, and checkout was easy. We just finished the third bag from our online order, and the quality was perfection across the board, so I can definitely say that we are fans and look forward to trying more of BDM's...

That out of the way, I absolutely hate coffee, but I still insist that my aunt sends me coffee every Christmas so I can share it with the minimal guests I get through the year. This year she sent me two bags, and I literally don't have enough local friends to get through all that, so I took one bag to work for my coworkers. THEY CANNOT STOP RAVING ABOUT THE COFFEE! They absolutely love it! One of them started talking about all the "hints of blah blah" and something about "undertones" and such. I have no idea what they were talking about. All my coworkers give it...
