What an absolutely wonderful gastronomical experience while celebrating 🍾 our 30th wedding anniversary. Based solely on online reviews and recommendations, I knew booking at Lola 45 would be a hit and it surely did not disappoint. Starting with the refreshing signature cocktails (aper'fall and le velour sauvage ), they hit the mark in settling us for an extraordinary evening. The hostest suggested an amuse-bouche and that opened up our palettes to what was coming next. The starters (maïs and buratta) danced in our mouths as the smoked paprika mayo with parmesan on roasted corn was a treat as we the gilled buratta surrounded by tomator and peaches (which was a perfect balance) The entrees (filet mignon and pheasant) did not disappoint either. The pheasant was moist and the filet minon cooked to a perfect medium rare just melted in your mouth. Wrapped up the evening with a coffee creme brule that was above and beyond. The restaurant was packed, buzzing and everyone was enjoying their evening on a Tuesday night (2-Sep-2025). There was a flow and ambiance that stemmed from the kitchen, through the bar, the hosts and all staff that was genuinely felt by everybody at the restaurant (whether you sat on the patio, inside or even outside in the lounge area. Thank you Melissa for taking care of us. Your wine recommendations were spot on!! We also appreciated the wedding anniversary salutation!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our first time (but definitely not) visit at Lola 45. See you soon!

Lola 45 is a quaint restaurant with phenomenal food. We were seated in the front heated enclosure with very “intimate” spacing. The beef tartare, sashimi and cavatelli dishes were delightful. The fried Brussels sprouts were delicious, the salmon gravlax was very well balanced. We also enjoyed a great wine recommendation. The joue de porc was good, but I wouldn’t order it agin as it was slightly over cooked, but the octopus was incredible. Unfortunately, the people behind us were very loud and obnoxious, taking a lot of time with every interaction with the waitress. The spoke so loudly our table was stunned at how much we needed to raise our voice to hear each other. We hope the move goes smoothly, as they are typically a challenge for restaurants…it would be a real shame to lose this place. Personally, I thought it was a perfect size and very charming, but I don’t know why or where they’re moving.

Wonderful service and great view of church on terrace. Our waiter named Mathieu was impeccable and friendly. Our entrées were superb: beets with honey and feta and tender squid with popped rice with cashew sauce= both delectable. My bavette de boeuf was charred but good with its bearnaise sauce. Two other sauces were a bit too sour. His veal was a bit too hard to chew but the waiter didn't hesitate to replace it by another dish. Instead he had the broadsword (espadon) which was tender and had a beefy or steaky consistency like tuna with a fresh coriander sauce: delicious! The grilled veggies were succulent and all dishes were well presented (see photos). Our dessert was the artisanal lavender ice cream that had a pleasant flavour but could have been sweeter. All in all a pleasant experience in our hometown of Sauveur.

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in. We got greeted warmly. We had made a reservation and luckily for us we had the option to choose where we wanted to be seated on the covered terrasse.

We got seated in a very intimate corner separated by a wall. The setting was perfect.

Our waiter was kind and took the time to go speak to the cooks regarding my seafood allergies to suggest swaps on the menu that could accomodate me.

Then came the entree... simply exquisite. Each bite was refreshing. I took the burratta and ate it all when I usually leave out a lot at other restaurants.

My main dish was a contrefilet medium-cooked. The grill was on point, the smell, the tenderness. Best dish I ever ate! But my tummy was full from all the deliciousness.

I had to leave out space for a dessert. Must I say I never take dessert. But the food was so amazing that I was too curious about it not to try it. I told myself it couldn't be as good as the rest! I took a Pomme Tatin. I am absolutely not a fan of caramel but seemed lime the lightest desert to take. Now this was real caramel!!! Not the industrial sugary stuff that falls heavy on the stomach we are used to!!! No wonder I used to hate it. It wasn't the real deal. The apples were mouth-melting with the oatmeal crunches. A perfect balanced treat!

For each dish that was brought by a different swrver, they reassured me there had been no contact with seafood. I mean wow! The delicateness of it all was more than appreciated.

My husband that was with me is a harder critic than I am and he was absolutely floored by his culinary experience. This is by far the best restaurant we have been to!

This was our first but certainly not the last of our visit. We will have much more plates to try!...

Hostess was so lovely. Welcoming, seated us at a specific table, as requested when our reservations were made online. Our server was Claudine. Friendly, knowledgeable, timed everything perfectly so that we would enjoy a wonderful meal without being rushed. We started with Trout Ceviche which was amazing and a crisp Cesar salad. Our mains were Mackerel Tartare and a Scallop dish. Both dishes were outstanding. Beautifully plated, prepared in very creative ways, showcasing the stars, Mackerel and Scallops. With subtle but very tasty additions on the side. Philippe (who was wonderful, extremely kind, helpful and contributed to an extremely relaxing, peaceful evening). Brilliant terrace design… Their transparent roof provides protection against rain, but you are still able to enjoy the beautiful, evening sky. Comfortable seating, pretty dividers between most tables. Wonderful evening!!! Highly recommend!! Almost forgot to mention the original and extremely tasty mixed...
